Liberia is the airport we used! We stayed in Guanacaste and went to coco beach and went ATV touring ,horseback riding, the people were wonderful! Cannot wait to go again! Thanks for the memories! We stayed at the RIU!
Was it safe? I did some reading about tamarindo… is it true theres lots of prostitutes and drugs?
@@superiorsmokerjaco beach for sure has prostitution. But its absolutely legal there in costa rica. Im sure tamarindo has working girls might just not be as aggressive and obvious as in jaco beach
Nicaragua is safe and a great paradise. It has bad politicians but its people will receive you with joy, you just have to discover it yourself and not believe everything they say..
Nice video
I love Costa Rica and yes I am costa rican
Great video i was here just a couple days ago it was a great experience 7-31-2022
Tamarindo is a district of the Santa Cruz canton, in the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica, located on the Nicoya Peninsula. The town of Tamarindo is the largest developed beach town in Guanacaste. Main attractions in the area are surfing and eco-tourism.
Costa does look like it has its own vibe. A mix of Hawaii and Mexico. Kinda gives me lilo & stitch disney movie vibes 😂❤❤❤ would be cool to visit Tamarindo! They even have horses on the beach!
I don't even recognize that place. Last time I was there it was a sleepy little village with dirt roads. Wow.
How long ago?
@@fabianastua I think it was 2004. Wow, almost 20 years ago now. Can't believe it was that long ago.
@@thecatguy4301 oh that is quite a while. You should give it another try.
@@thecatguy4301 BTW.... summer started few weeks ago. So, get your sun protection 😀.
@@fabianastua Na, I'm not into cities. I want country.
Weird comment by the host--"Mexico is its big brother" around 6.30". CR really has nothing to do culturally/politically/lifestyle-wise with Mexico (and it's much less corrupt). And Mexican restaurants aren't really representative of either country btw.... Either way, the food is very different in CR as is just about everything else--even the way Spanish is spoken. PS "pura vida" can also mean, "thank you" or many other things, it is kind of like "aloha" or the "aloha spirit" you find in Hawaii. I love Mexico as well but the two are very different amigo--acculturation helps a lot (hint). Spend some solid time there, you'll see the differences.
Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels. I really appreciate your videos.
That was fun 🤩
when was this filmed please because I have never been to Costa Rica and it looked beautiful on the day
Great Job!!! Thank You... :-)
Funny watching this from Uluwatu
I am Costa Rican (and US/American and Canadian, yes I have three passports), and we don't have much in common with Mexico, apart from speaking Spanish and being a part of Latin America. And definitely, PURA VIDA, is NOT a Mexican expression. It is as Costa Rican as you can get. All the Latin American countries are different. They are not mini-Mexicos. In fact, in speech, in food, and culturally, Costa Ricans are much closer to Colombians than to Mexicans. Overall, liked your video.
vea mae que pura vida!!!!!!
We are heading to Tamarindo in late October. How is the weather? How safe is Tamarindo for Americans?
It is safe and a bit hot and humid
How would u recommend transportation from the airport to Tamarindo
Private driver or taxi. Or you can just rent a car
La playa más linda de Guanacaste es coco flamingo
How would I find an apartment down there? Is there a good website?
Great video have you ever made it to Samara Costa Rica
Ahhh we went to Santa Teresa and Montezuma after this one
I lived in Samara for 8 years. My friends their have a very good walking tour. Beautiful Beachtown! ruclips.net/video/88F6udLcmdY/видео.html
I don’t speak Spanish. Is much English spoken in this area?
How far to Nicaragua
Before Mexico and Central America got their independence from Spain all central America and Mexico used to be one country.
i watched a guy get the shit beaten out of him outside of sharkys
Costa Rica had more in common with my Puerto Rican side than my Mexican side (which does not say Pura Vida)
That’s so cool! My son is half Puerto Rican and Mexican, I’m Mexican btw lol
Is Tamarindo not Tamerindo
No sea inteligente
@@YachtSeeker07 No sea ignorante
Looks like a dirty place. I never heard anything good about any of those Latin American towns. I appreciate you going to those places so I didn’t have to. Lol. After viewing all these island hopper videos of late, you’ve helped me make a decision to never go to any of those places.
Really? Yeah I personally like many of them. But the towns are not always modern infrastructure. Much of it is the nature that attracts people
I am sure those places won't miss you and your sparkling personality
Thanks for not coming!
@@jamesway as a Costa Rican I must say you are totally accurate with that statement.
It is not necessary for you to come, it is enough with the more than 3 million inhabitants who visit this beautiful paradise that concentrates more than 5% of the biodeiversity of the planet. Whose economy is fundamentally based on the tourism and export of medical and high-tech devices, being among the world's largest producers in the life sciences industries, with the longest life expectancy, surpassing the United States and many countries in the world. First world. Bye Bye...
