Cream's old promotional video "I Feel Free." This is NOT the full video for there are a few clips that are missing.
This is the original recording from the 1966 album, "FRESH CREAM," but with a new stereo mix. Some people may like this new mix, but some purist may not. Enjoy. Видеоклипы
This track is an absolute monster. I don't understand why Cream didn't go in this direction more. The vocal mix is amazing - totally unique. Hasn't been matched..and then we get into the instrumentals......
God I love this! Jack Bruce's bass and vocals send shivers up the spine!!! And Eric's guitar work is devistating!
Jack's funeral is this morning, Nov. 5th 2014 - rest well Jack! You are now forever FREE and always in our hearts.
Each song is better then the next, What an incredible band,
Clapton, his younger days with Cream equals some great jam sessions!! Would have loved to see these guys perform 'live' back in the 60's. It's as if Clapton just kept on getting better, captializing on his amazing guitar playing, he's one of the best, and certain people call him thee BEST!!
Totally love this song.
I feel so blessed to have grown up in this era, listening to this music.
Having been born in 1967, I missed it completely, but at least I can still listen to the great music.
+r.daw me to fantastic time
VERY, VERY WELL SAID. And I agree with you wholeheartedly... BR
Masterpiece
My favorite Cream tune---very jazzy and trippy at the same time!! The star here is Jack Bruce--great vocals and superb bass work!! A lot of people forget how great Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker were---the band wasn't called Cream just because Clapton was in it!!
I Agree
+Roy Lay Bruce and Pete Brown, actually.
I was a kid(12) when I saw them... with 22,000 people other people! ..everybody I knew bought their LPs..hard to believe they never made money!! My father bought me "Fresh Cream" (Polydor) in London, before anybody had heard them here.
Well said!!! Jack Bruce was simply awesome
Don't see what your beef is about Clapton.
Listened to this on my way to Vietnam back in 68. It was a long flight and that cassette was just about worn out when we landed in Danang. It really helped with that trip though.
Jack Bruce, Eric Clapton, and Ginger Baker...three of the greatest musicians of all time!
I used to dance to this song when Cream played live at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit, Michigan in 1967.
An improvement in every way, shape and form over the dreadful stereo mix that was originally issued. I was lucky enough to have grown up with the mono mix, which sounds a million times better. I think this is the best mix of this song that currently exists.
Awesome song from one of the most underrated bands ever!
hm underrated ?
UNDERRATED? ?? They were considered the 1st supergroup
So young , so ambitious, and so talented. The greatest power trio ever!
Saw Cream in 1967 at The Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino. Was very much blown away!!!
If this song, this very video, does not depict to an absolute "T" the innocence and free spirit of those early days when you passed through the looking glass to see the other side, which had always there... yet so far away.
Ahhhh.... 1967, what a time in history we lived through, and I'd do it all over again!!!
awesome blues rock track with pop thrown in too, this track has a lot going on in it. the music video i always thought looked weird was the 60's to be fair. cream legends forever. magic 3 piece band.
Enrique' Caballero
you kidding i grew up on classic rock. i love classic rock the best.i am a rocker
Jamie Warrior Warlord McCallum good morning my frind, lovely post thanks ...have a great day.
Yeah
This back when 3 pc. bands made music that last for a lifetime and it sounds a great today as it did back then....where are they now?
This one is all about the drums and bass!! Awesome tune!!
listening to this through headphones and it sounds pretty freakin' cool.
This video kinda reminds me of the video for "Strawberry Fields".
This is top of the bill, a really classic one
I like this version better than the original on you tube - The original has a lower duller volume to it - and this new one sounds crisper - thanks for posting
R.I.P,Jack Bruce.
great song , great bass , great guitar solo
Deep man, deep. The swingsets and slides...deep.
i love this song, its so mellow and relaxed, cream made some really good rockin music but this is a nice little gem from them
You're welcome! However at that time when I posted this video, RUclips was having "compression problems." It's not supposed to sound the way it is here. I'm thinking about taking this video down and reposting it again since the problems has gone away. Thanks again.
As great a song this is, I don't like the original stereo image on this song, so I decided to 'digitally mix it' and now it sounds better.
There're alot more songs that I can remix into a better stereo sound, I'll post more.
YEEAAAAAAH just genius in stereo, THAAANKKKKSSSSSS !!!!!!!!
I feel free with JESUS!!!! Not starting a war; but I feel free in JESUS!!!!! Whats amazing, we all can feel free in JESUS.
Rip Jack Bruce
In my junior year in high school I choreographed a dance to this and performed for my gym class! What fun, feels like yesterday but that was 44 years ago! I still feel free when I hear this....
Old Man Again: God this song is MY mantra... This is all we all wanted; free from judgement, free to absolutely LOVE, and be loved... I came back from hell and have been searching for this "I Feel Free" moment since 1968... Feel the energy... Feel the emotion... I have and in many ways It has saved me...
WOW those first two chords at :32 are stunning. Great job!
What a collection of talent!
Beautiful powerful memories in time..every thing about l feel free stands test of time..jack Bruce's percussive piano sound like bells!! Luv video look!! It looks right in B W.. Mad happy go lucky Monks ..Remix done right..Thank you very much!! Appreciated
the track that made me a fan for life
great song , great band
quien diga que esto no es una cancion es porque no apresia la verdadera musica. esta cancion me encanta siempre he dicho que quisiera estar en esos tiempos donde todo era como esa cancion todo era mejor y lo mejor es poco. espero un dia conocer a cream
This is perfect. The bass is up front, instead of the tambourine like on some mixes
+Spencer Raney How come there are missing parts? It's good regardless.
I can't hear Clapton's guitar....but better than most.
jeannelacubana10 You obviously have a hearing problem woman.
A pleasure for my ears!!! ;)

THE ERA OF THE ICONS OF TODAY. MUSIC WAS PURE BACK THEN NOT DOCTORED UP THRU ELECTRONICS. THE ERA OF THE MOST INCREDIBLE MUSICIANS TO EVER COME TO LIGHT. ALL THE GREATS WILL LIVE ON.
I was about 14 when this was on the radio...I remember being entranced by it. Wow how fucking lucky I was to grow up with music of this quality.
Greatest song ever !
never ages...superb
Greatest 3 man rock bands; Hendrix Experience, Cream, Police, Nirvana - quite a list but this is one of the best ever 3 man rock hits.
James gang, Crosby Stills Nash, etc
There's an excellent documentary about the life and career of Ginger Baker,APTLY entitled-"Beware Mr. Baker",that came out in 2012. It's been running on the Showtime networks pretty frequently lately and it's also been uploaded on RUclips. It really gives you a TON of insight on the musical GENIUS and the personal and private MADNESS that was/is Ginger's life and history. It also proves the old adage that "there's a fine line between genius and insanity"! If you're a fan of Cream or anything that Ginger has ever been involved in,this film is a must-watch.
And sometimes there's no line at all.
Captain Quirk When you're talking about "Mr. Baker" there definitely isn't one, lol.!
_Exactly!_ ;-)
Captain Quirk ;-)
What a song, you do feel free listenning to it./.
I remember in December 1966 turning on BBC Top of The Pops, a kind of Shindig hits programme, and they had Cream doing I Feel Free with Baker playing his drums with Roman stabbing swords and Hendrix playing the guitar with his teeth on Hey Joe; What The F***!! Great idea, really appreciated
RIP Jack Bruce
"I am free, no matter what rules may surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them, if I find them obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am responsible for all of my actions." - Heinlein
Great song, VERY UNDER-RATED IN MY OPINION!!!!
Es increible ver a Eric Clapton en una faceta para mi desconocida, siempre luce tan serio
0:10 god what great humming, am i right, sounds so mellifluous, has to be jack bruce, what a really great voice.
I saw Jack Bruce at Bury St Edmund's Festival in July. His voice I feel had gone a bit. But he is still a wonderful person.
So catchy !
nacijo! izadjimo svi iz ovakvih odora!
one of my fav. Cream songs...
Just brilliant
very good.............................
Bombombom-ba-bombom I feel Free! Jimi, Eric/Cream, SRV - the Immortals. Can't top them :)
The first song that played on WBCN when it made the switch to rock!
This is a great recording, couldn't hear clapton before.
Bloody Marvellous!
thanks for posting mate, ,
i hope me and my friends are like this when i grow up
it's actually a great mix. Cream rocks. thanks Melanie for sharing.
first and last song played on the old WBCN in boston long live the big matress
Great sound and promo, thanks
Thanks for this attempt. There is so much great music on that first album that is completely buried in that horrible mix - especially the incredible rocking and funking that Bruce and Baker were doing. I don't know how they ever let that thing out on the street.
Amazing bassline!
really good sound on this..thanks so much !
good song, foo fighters captured the essence of this song in their 5 songs & a cover ep.
Perfect, that's what I was looking for this beautiful song😁 thanks so much
"After seeing the band in San Francisco in the late ‘60s, Grateful Dead drummer Mickey Hart asked bandmate Jerry Garcia if Cream was the best band in the world. “They are tonight,” responded Garcia"
my favorite song without it the world would incomplete
They had lots of fun that day.
I love the video in that film noir style of the early 1960s. Only it was done innocently for budget reasons not because they planned it that way.
Nice melody:) Lovely harmonies!
...those were the days.....
Yes, that was intentional. Actually, you can hear the first and third versus on the right, and then when Jack Bruce sings "I can walk down the street, theres no one there....." and the guitar solo, you'll hear it on the left (or vice versa with the stereo settings).
FANTASTIC.... Eric looks so pissed off.
very impressive man, very impressive indeed.....
I have a true story in regards to this song back in 1969 for what I did on Grove Street in Kingston, MA. Old 8 track in a 58 vette
This song makes me wish I was born in 48 instead of 68. CLASSIC.
Actually I mixed it. I did the same thing to "Toad." The remix of "Cat's Squirrel" is being posted very soon.
OUR CONSTITUTION MAKES IT SO! 2020 Take it back!
@videocanone You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it.
@oldartstudent see where it says "playing at Hong Kong Garden, Philadelphia on March 08, 2011"? It's right under where it says Cream - I Feel Free in the info box. It's there on several vids for Cream songs. The band playing is called "Heavy Cream" follow the link.
I really like the new stereo mix. It's wider thoughout the spectrum better separation and definition...especiall in the begining
Great track!! great vid !! Brad !!
thanks fo the good sound!!!!!!!!!!!
legendary!!
bass line incredible...
I don't know how youse done it, but youse done it, and good. The audio's popping, alive and kickin'.
aah
años sin escuchar esta canciion
la amoo
so young.
Thanks! But damn RUclips for the compression at the time of the posting.
This is from the original CD before the remasters.
However, as for the mix, I ended up remixing it myself. How I did it? I won't tell. :))
Grrreat! I remember when it came out, such powerful emotional music and Claptons guitar break at 1:42, which screeches and wails like a banshee on crack!
I would walk down the street playing it over and over in my head (what people did before walkmans, mp3 players).
I feel free bombombombombom
I can walk down the street and there's no one there though the pavement is one huge crowd
The sound of the mind crying out out loud!
DON'T BIND AND YOU SHALL UNBOUND
