Oh boy, catching up on this will take some effort…
Nice to see ya back, and I hope this update blesses you as much as this game in general has blessed me this year so far!
Hos good is peace man would u invest all your crystals into getting him if it was you
Unsure until we see his numbers!
I am not impressed with Peacemaker’s kit, saving for the next MK1 character seems to be a better choice.
Bro post some gameplay
1. No ambassador program and limited product promotional media is a conscious and deliberate choice based on early impressions
(Low valued product)
You requesting to be part of a promotional team (that doesn't exist, is why you are ignored. It's not personal) WBs doesn't promote mobile games.
People who play mobile games are not the people who should be involved with making a game. Improving a game is completely different
If you have this brilliant idea of a game, fun, addicting, then you need to at least test the market and not drop in head first, requesting money to pay for a Kickstarter adventure
At least allow the audience to know more than "i think its a fun concept/game"
As good as the core concept for the game is- it's not something I can ever copyright completely, so I have thus far only been sharing the idea with interested parties who may be able to contribute, or trusted friends.
As for the low valued product... I think the game can be a high value product with the right approach.
I appreciate the feedback. I do, however, disagree with your assertion that "the people who play mobile games" shouldn't be involved in making them. I think people who play a lot of mobile games have a thorough understanding of the current landscape, the popular trends, the overall player sentiment on various features, etc.
Often, it seems as though the people designing games could benefit *greatly* from the opinions of an informed enthusiast.
@@Khasino How will you get crowd funded unless you share more than it's a fun concept. I've never seen anyone request this in the way you attempted
That's entirely different than being an integral part of the process. Companies do this all the time. You may be unaware but Reverse 1999 and MSF have both successfully adopted a communities most wants, and overall satisfaction
They have helped shaped the game
People who can never be satisfied are ones that don't understand that the games needs to make money and those practices won't involve people working on the game. That's another department etc
Improving an already viable product is completely different. Games that aren't viable long term will fall off, as LOTRs
In order for that to happen they would need to redesign the game from the ground up. Focused groups, hardcore fans and other data show that the audience isn't engaged or satisfied with the quality of the product out of the box
This hasn't changed. Fans on release of onslaught made their opinions clear
Promotional media and other such endeavors are irrelevant and would only bleed money. It's like shining a (insert)
They will not setup a department of promotional marketing media for a product that's been classed *low valued product*
@jackwalker5266 To address your first point:
I was throwing out a feeler for people who wanted to learn more who may be interested in contributing- if I decide to hard commit to a fundraiser attempt, I will release a dedicated video (likely several) sharing many more details, including some of the concept artwork I already have ready.
As for the low value product: Communities make games. Marketing are responsible for Community engagement. Ideally, it happens naturally, but a low quality game can become a high earning game if the developers maintain a strong community connection and clearly outline and hype up their planned content.
A great example of this is something like Ashes of Creation, a game making a ton of money despite NOT BEING PLAYABLE. People are paying for *eventual* skins because the constant community engagement is allowing for a thriving community despite there literally not being a game to actually play yet.
A weak game with a competent community building team can and will vastly outperform an excellent game with no community engagement.
This is something most dev studios are missing, and I would love an opportunity to demonstrate it further even if I have to do it myself.
@@Khasino Ashes of creation isn't a low viable product. It's not something that's been slapped together and shoved into the market space. It's still in development and the game is vastly bigger than a mobile game. You would have been better to have compared ashes of creation to Lost ark, Wow, no man's sky. Games with ambitious endeavors
Communities do not make games. They can shape games if the interest is there, If the product is something they want to stand behind. Their first impression and lasting impressions aren't making for good reading. It's terminally ill
This has the same trajectory as LOTRs (which is being shut down in May I believe)
It didn't matter how many dev blogs and community engagement it had for players to feel incorporated. LOTRs was flat out a bad product
I wish it wasn't but the only way they could have fixed it, like onslaught is to redesign the entire game from the ground up
@jackwalker5266 Communities do make games. I have seen it happen time and time again. Do you think it's a coincidence that MSF lost like a third of their players when Seatin first quit? You, like most game studios, vastly undervalue community. A strong community can and will carry an outright bad game. Not every time, but plenty often enough to warrant a concerted effort.
Edit: To add to this, whenever I start a new game, there is always a contingent of players who join just to play alongside me and other members of my community. I am not a big enough influencer to make a significant splash, but I assure you that catering to and assembling a team of larger influencers will have DRAMATIC impact on nearly any game's playerbase.
MK1 shamg tsung ruined the game and its garbage.
