Mine has a problem of:
When I use the wheel, either nothing happens, or it rolls back (when I want to do a downward wheel action it does an upward action).
Not having hardware for method 2, can using alcohol in the encoder solve the problem?

Yes there's a high possibility it will fix the issue, follow the step on the video to dissemble the mouse then put some cleaning alcohol in it.

@@ekNxzRR you can use any one like spray,thinner or wd40.....motorbikes fuel "Octane" also works

i replace encoder on my atlantis mini the same way and it s stop working 😢 When connect it nothing happens and led on the bottom flashing green

see if there any of the connector got ripped off from the board or not??cause it happens sometime.
