@@darthrevan3342 Well, the Word Bearers were Loyalists once and Lorgar, their Primarch, wrote the Lacticius Divinatus which the Imperial Cult is based off, which is the religion of the Imperium then he turned to Chaos after the Emperor denied his divinity and practically beat Lorgar for it. Quite ironic the guy who started a religion become one of its enemies

I got Chaos Gate in 1998 - 24 years ago. Back then I had no winamp and used Sonique player to get my MP3 running and most game music at that time came from game journals with attached discs. I had no idea how this track was named and knew no english language back then but I still saved this composition with some minor sound glitch on 0:31.
It's been almost quarter of centrury and this very same Chaos Gate MP3 with that sound glitch on 0:31 is still with me, carefully kept after numerous computer upgrades and other stuff. I expect it to be with me fore another quarter of century if i am lucky.

I just can’t stop listening to this song, it screams warhammer 40k and grim dark future. It just odd to see warhammer 40k forgetting what makes it great.

It's interesting,that,thanks to their limitless faith (in their case,in Chaos Undivided),Word Bearers were less splintered into warbands,than the other traitor legions,they kept themselves in one,united shape,both,as religious cult,and as military formation.
If they ever make films of Horus Heresy this but softer and slower and softer (think Darth Sidious' theme from Star Wars) should be the background for Erebus and Kor Phaeron scheming.

And so the emporors sword came down. Lorgars daemon form burnt to ash within seconds. Wait. Did he say corvus was...alive?
As this happened,a mass of crows burst through the window of the cathedral,melding back together into this form or horrid shadow...it looked at lorgars body...then to guiliman. The light of the emporors sword revealed hints beneath the shadow...and it dawned finaly.
"Oh gods...Corvus?"

This just sounds like a generic military march with organ chants over it. There's none of that crazy over-the-top-passion vibe that's so characteristic of Chaos going on.

Being the word bearers, it could be either or.
I feel alot of wasted potential surrounds this legion and Lorgar Aurelion, just so the setting's writers could get some kind of dunk in, on religious people. Lorgar and Guiliman could have a really interesting commonality and quite and an interesting talk in modern day 40k. But no he's just a character made to be, "ReLiGiOn DuMb rIgHt gUyS!" second rate sneering villain.
