Will definitely grab the first two Duran Durans; I had plans on grabbing those used at some point but never had the right copies come along. Off the beaten path a bit, I may also grab the re-issue of Martin Denny's Exotica w/ bonus tracks.
Duran Duran had a 2nd self titled album that came out in 1993, and it's actually my favorite album of theirs. Fans refer to it as the Wedding album because of the bride on the cover to distinguish from their debut S/T. If you haven't heard the wedding album, you should definitely check it out
I’m excited about the Duran Duran releases of their Best albums, Finally! I wish the self titled debut was a reissue of the 1983 version with “Is There Something I Should Know”. In addition to Girls on Film, Planet Earth was a big hit as well. But the whole album is fantastic. Seven and the Ragged Tiger is an Awesome album. Also one of their best Sonically. Rio and S/T debut being their best musically (track by track) in my opinion
if you're a fan of colored vinyl and the offspring, i HIGHLY recommend tracking down a copy of the recently released "pearl" edition of "smash." it is one of the coolest designs/colors i've seen on colored vinyl, with true iridescence like a pearl. the album has a limited run of 400 and is sold out on their website, but a few retailers and places like ebay seem to have copies. (note that this is different from the RSD "milky clear" version released a couple of years ago.) the honda center show exclusive "tangerine swirl" version of "smash" is supposed to be delivered next tuesday; online, it looks like a creamsicle, so it should hopefully be good as well. that one had a fulfillment delay, so it was just officially released and is still available for purchase on the offspring website as of now...
i'm looking forward to picking up all of the duran duran vinyl (and possibly the accompanying CD re-releases as well since my copies have seen better days). "notorious" definitely was a change in sound for the guys, but i love the added funkiness; it's actually one of my favorite DD albums. "big thing" is only okay, but it still has some good moments.

Certainly tempted to get the Alicia Keys and Duran Duran vinyls but I'm definitely getting Heart's Greatest Hits (unfortunately it doesnt include some of their late hits) as well as the Twisters soundtrack (by a number of popular country artists). I'm also getting the Bob Marley Songbook.
I’ve actually cut back. On average I pick up 3 or 4 albums a week. A lot of stuff I’ll stream over the weekend and decide that it’s not something I have to have on vinyl (at least at full price). I’ll also add that “overpriced” is a very subjective term.
@@TheVinylDen Wow $100 + a week..... jealous & yes in my opinion all of us vinyl lovers are being gouged due to the popularity of vinyl, paying $30 + on average for a single LP is not in my budget anymore except for maybe 1 or 2 albums a month, everything else I am now buying on CD
