You guys are flying through these projects, keep up the good work!
We are well behind on the Vlogs, wait and see!
@@ryanp6138 Does that mean a certain turbo video could be coming soon?
@@TheKruxed maybe?
@@ryanp6138 Well if you're asking for my permission, I can grant that
@@TheKruxed we will crack on then!
Fantastic work, Love watching this progress
looking forward to see you guys on Track , Great work
1060kg! That’s impressive! I’m sure the ones in the seat cupra championship managed to get down to 1250kg (bearing in mind road car is 1365kg)
yeah and thats with steel doors and boot! we are going to try to get under 1000kg
Darkside Developments how have they managed to make it so light?
@@thomasw3449 possibly acid dipped as the sills seem very thin. Nothing on this is over engineered. M5 bolts for rear roll bar ect
Excellent can't wait to see some track footage
Another awesome video keep them coming
Bear in mind slick or semi slicks run lower figures than road tyres as the shootout formulas only correct to fly properly with road tyres.
At the risk of being flamed, you are wrong about the ARB cross tube not doing any twisting. You are in the ballpark about the blades and they do have a greater effect on the effective stiffness of the overall assembly than the torsion bar section but the bar does twist.
I'm sure at full stiff the bar deflects some otherwise they would not have different diameters and wall thicknesses.
As always very nice video!
I was always told that a rear spoiler on a front wheel drive car pushed the car down at the rear thus taking the weight of the front wheel which make it lose front end grip
Most cars have rear end lift at high speeds, at worst you want to neutralise that or add a little downforce. A small front splitter adds a little to the front to balance it out
as long as you dunt put another spoiler on the front 😂😂 keep it up mate cracking content boss
What’s the guy @ 7:02 doing?
I know him! He is from the 23rd century! He is adding 10hp with mind controll!!!
Diesels are better than ever now!!!
Greetings from the 23rd century!!! 😎😎😎
@@Master321v lol Arpad
I have a golf mk3 tdi GT racing car and I am thinking about modifications
Email us :)
i love BTCC!
Guess you better keep with that balls out tune then 😂👍🏼
The engine was poorly
I wish you worked on more varied car manufacturers :( would love to bring mine here
We like to specialise!
there were 1000 revolutions at start,Why ?
you cant start at 0rpm
@@DarksideDevelopmentsI think,
the car ran idle and held 1000rpm
WTF? the leon mk1 never raced in the wtcc, the mk2 with engine gasoline and diesel yes, and in btcc is a Toledo Mk2 with Ray Mallock
Watch the other videos. Its a SuperCopa with a mix of BTCC and WTCC parts and a TDI Engine.
Show us the 330d !!
Next week we will film it!
Not a btcc car, they used the Toledo I'm sure🤔
Jordan Thom they did use the leon and it had that livery too
@@thehutt2 no they didnt, it was the Toledo in the btcc.
well that's never been in btcc or wtcc....
What's it been in then?
The car was technically in the BTCC, TOCA set a BTCC masters cup, which were drivers that were seen as the best of the time in the BTCC it was basically a BTCC cup with the same car
it's a seat cupra cup car. even if it was the masters race it's still a cupra cup car. no different just havmd a btcc driver driving it
Just in general What's stopping you guys making stupid hp on a pd engine??
Race regulations are the limiting factor. We have well over 450hp on some engines
Not just in racing e.g the arosa
@@chriscope7298 we have 700+hp CR, PD made 600+ in Arosa
@@ryanp6138 thought btcc cars run 300bhp
@@DarksideDevelopments thought btcc cars have 300bhp
