Answered all my questions.Mr Tools tired changing whipper line and having bruises on my shins. Thought that the Makita EzyWork bumper head would slove my problem. No that head sucks when sand gets stucked in the body so you have to open it up to empty it out. It’s meant to help you install new line quickly but it doesn’t. Makita might need to redesign the head. Making it easier to turn with your bare hands. Heading out tomorrow to buy one. Thanks Tools
I’ve been waiting for a review of this! I’m sold! This is why I’m still so heavily into LXT system because Makita keep on bringing out some amazing tools!
Ive wanted one of these for so long, glad to see you review it. Wish these attachments were cheaper in the states. When you went right at the camera for the first time it was super satisfying.
Hmm actually looks pretty useful, better than I thought :) Now it looks like it has some extra power, they could make a wider version for faster cutting?
Thanks for the review, although I prefer the rotary scissors attachment vs this style as I mostly use it near raised edges. I'd love a review of the UV001G dethatcher vs the popular Ryobi one.
Good on you..... yet another great review!!! I would say its not for 'mowing' a whole lawn, more for getting under hedges and/or hard to reach areas....??? I have the DUM604ZX, with the extension grip and interchangeable blade. Pretty much the same animal, just a narrower blade/cutting size. Works well for me. If I had the DUX60 it would give me thought and reason to buy. Question: Could/would you review Makita workwear, i.e Trousers or such? Does not have to be the heated variants of Jackets/Vests. Dunno if you have any possibility, or if there is anything available...? None-the-less, keep up the great work, ja? Cheers!
I love it, i bought my trimmer in july-august i think and i really love it. And i really like the EM407MP also, but this one is better. Grass and stuff dont get jammed like with the EM407. Have youo tried the waterpump DEAPF400MP? also an favorite of mine.
Add a height of cut adjustment with another set of wheels. Like the second set of wheels on a manual reel mower and you would have a manual reel mower killer.
I do really like the idea of this tool, good for medium patches of level lawn if you like to keep peace with the neighbours. Better then getting sh*t flicked at your shins from a brushcutter.
I have an awfully steep hill in my back yard - it's covered in grass and weeds and I tackle it every other time I mow. It's too steep for a push mower but takes forever with a weedwacker. I have the Makita powerhead already and this looks like it might be the perfect solution to speed up the process and not be covered in grass at the end of the job. Do you think it would do well clearing a steep bank?
Maruyama makes a rotary, circular blade with contra-rotating blade elements that is pretty popular among landscapers for many of the same reasons. I understand it's fairly loud though.
Is there any sort of management working at Makita? why does it just feel like a bunch of designers doing whatever they want bringing random products out with no release calendar at all. Just random odd tools sporadically throughout the year. it’s chaotic but atleased it’s amusing. 4 hob gas stove coming mid march followed by a new dry wall cut out tool then an 18v drain camera two weeks later.

"The neighbors are vacuuming their lawn again 🤔🧐"

The Stihl one is much better. This thing is a loser.
Really appreciate the OPE videos.

I found it good cutting weeds in the creek it doesn't bog down in water
So it would work for cutting cat tails in the ditch ?!

Been waiting for this review. Was thinking about buying this.
Please please get the power brush for the split shaft.
Can you use it on heavier brush
Got mine free via the redemption had a little play with it tonight should be perfect for my kaikuia grass bank
What redemption was that? I’m interested
This to was a redemption deal here in NZ.

I think this one can cut thicker grass then the rotary scissors.
My dad has the mini 18V beard trimmer, a hair cutter to go with it would be great!

Thank you so much great review
It’s good to see you wearing official Ozzie Safety boots. 👍
Does the 18v do the heavier stuff you were doing the second half? I think you were using the 40v the rest of video?
I used to have a hedge trimmer that had a head that would go 90 degrees, Id use it like a sythe on cane grass on the Big Island

Makita is way beyond the future!!!!
Can you please reveal when the 40v multi tool will be in store!! Rumours from Japan have said mid year
perfect around flax where a whipper snipper would snag

Makita make one too.
Sooooo.... That rival system's hanging solution... where am i looking? This is an interesting tool, but very niche.
Short back & sides 😜 mulcher needed
Is there a robot rake yet?
do you have a link/part numbe to the "rival system" hanging hooks?
exactly what I was looking for in the comments
Maybe the Milwaukee M18 Fuel Quik-Lok Attachment Hook? (Not tried it myself, only googled it)
i need this but i can't find this model in Indonesia

How the hell did this thing make it passed the liability review.
It’s basically a lightweight domestic version of a Power Scythe, as made for decades by the likes of Nibbi, Bertolini and (even older) Allen.
Flip-flops and cutting tools, that's a no from me.. haha
head and Shaft ahahahaha
but is it any good on your beard?
I don't have a beard.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL so it worked really well then? :)
| just can't cope with your swearing. I'll use the mute, that will fix it.
What did I say?
