Anytime I think about taking my Rasheed out to shoot I am just like, "Yeahhhhhhh if I break this I am gonna have to make the part myself by hand sooooooo oh hey Chinese SKS, wanna go instead?" Same goes for my "Type 84" SKS. I break a serialized part on that and I am screwed!
Someone told me when I purchased my Egyptian Rasheed. Only about 800 of them got imported into the country. Some were in very bad conditions. So the number is even lower.
I was lucky to find one in good condition. Paid only $650.
Really fun gun to shoot. Still accurate after 100 years!
I've only seen a Rasheed once in my life at a gun show. The receiver looked like a house to me and I wasn't sold on them.
A bit better than an SKS due to the box magazines.
Nice review mesha, I am realy impressed how you pronounce the arabic names of that guns, very correct as a native👌🏻💯👏🏻
Like I have told my self many times I should have purchased more of these surplus rifles when they were a bit cheaper.
Don't loose sleep over it. We all have those moments. Only natural. This one i sold foolishly, but years later had the chance to buy it back.
@@misha5670 Your right I have some nice things I did buy. And I have sold things I should have kept. I just love old mill surplus.
@@waldo3023 Type 84 SKS? is that the 'sporter sks' in 5.56 that used type 84 AK mags? That was imported by Midwest Industries briefly?
Like in the early 80's, I believe?
I bought a Rasheed recently. The asking price was high, so to sweeten the deal the seller threw in an extra magazine. To my dismay, I soon discovered one of the mags won’t feed at all. Even though Ive studied both of them thoroughly, I cannot find any difference between them.
this is one off my bucket list of oddball surplus to trade in to someday if i can they are so cool
Great video. I think I saw one earlier that you did. Interesting to see the Czech influence among others. That is a very cool 7.62x39 offering. I always enjoy learning about their lineage, and different related friends. Fascinating period of history. Thanks for the video.
Probably did, this is one i try and revisit every couple years. Decided to do it again now just because not a ton new to tlak about ATM.
@@misha5670 I fully understand not a criticism just observation. I could have imagined something!
Another model that we had a few of in our collection but all were sold I really wish we would have kept at least one anyway good vid as always meach
Interesting vid, can u make a video on older common shotgun
Interesting relatives. Nicely done again . Cool 😎 thanks 👍
I need one of these!
Nice

@@vvinny0150 Thanks...but more specific, sights etc.
Nice rifles.
I don’t trust myself with a ljungman. I know you have to flip the bolt safety on so when you reload a stripper clip the bolt doesn’t snap on ya. If I was in a competition I’d definitely lose a finger XD.
Very cool guns. I’ve heard many of the gas ports are shot out on the Hakims so buyers must be cautious about purchasing one.
Good Stuff
I've heard that the Rasheed doesn't take SKS stripper clips, does anyone know if that's true? If it is, what kind of stripper clips does it take?
Dream milsurp...
One day I will find one.
You Could Thread a Suppressor On The Rasheed Misha 😀😎😊🔥🔥🔥 That Would Be Neat To See If It’s Possible
I do have one of these rare rifles.I don't think I'd want to sell it.
I Love The Hakeem 😀😎
😎💯
