Hi. Wow, amazing gameplay! Can you please tell me if this has been recorded from a physical FM Towns, or if it was emulated? I am trying to play this game through an emulator, but I can't hear the songs for some reason. I was just wondering if it might be a common emulation issue.
It’s emulated. I remember having the same problem, but unfortunately I don’t remember how I solved it . Maybe it’s related to the virtual disc mounting

ああ、ライザンバー！！！懐かしい。
中学生の時、友人がタウンズを持っていて「難しすぎてクリアできないゲームがある。手伝ってくれ」と言われ
家に行ったらこのライザンバーだった。
何週間かかけてクリアを目指したけれど７面がどうしても無理だった。
あの現れてくる四角いブロックのパターンが覚えられず、心が折れてしまう状態になってしまった。
初めて最終面とエンディングを見れました。ありがとう。最終面の音楽かっこいいですね！
FM-TOWNSの１は画面の左右が狭く自機が大きいので難易度を上昇させていました。
でも続編がPCエンジンに行ってしまったのには驚きました。当時のデータウェストはCD-ROMのゲームの製作に賭けていたので仕方ないのかな？
CD-ROMのゲーム市場の未来はFM-TOWNSではなくPCエンジンだったのは間違いなかったのですが・・・。
PS1で発売予定だったゲームやりたかったな。

ライザンバーⅠは1面でライトニングでないので、ファイアー装備だが、それ以降はライトニング1択！！
当時、それぞれの面に得意な人がいて、ワイワイ言いながらやってたのを思い出します。
FM-TOWNSはDATA WEST、VING、CSK総合研究所辺りが牽引していた印象ですね。
当時X68000ユーザーでしたが、ライザンバーはちょっと羨ましかったです。

Never played this one, but I've played Rayxanber II on PC Engine and it was hard as balls
