watching crisp and how he slowed in the straight until red rum came up to him he then picked up again. Puts me in mind of Might Bite who did the same in the RSA chase 2017, only MB got up to win.
Red Rum an absolute living legend in 73 poor Crisp who arguably gave the grest performance ever in the great race under a welterweight giving Red Rum 23lb ....I backed Red Rum but I cried for Crisp and 'Dick' Pitman. Red Rum wasn't/ISN'T a racehorse....RED RUM IS A LEGEND ❤
The Horse of a Nation!
Now we just have to see if tiger roll will reach his expectations of the 2nd horse to win the grand national 3 times.
Crisp and Richard Pitman cruelty denied the Grand National, but who would denie the great Red Rum, I also think of the great gold cup winner Garrison Savanna
I Have this on VHS
Almost as good as the incomparable Crisp. And that is sensational.
Red Rum was born in Ireland.
Yo need a nice licking out
But his heart was in England
@@esmondrose5294 What on earth were you saying red rum was bred in ireland that is my point and yes the bloodlines in the uk and ireland are very different anyone who knows anything about horses or racing knows this. Im irish don't tell me there is not much difference between ireland and england! ireland is an island for one and england is a country that is part of an island.
Love u rummy❤
Red rum number 1 .
Rip. Red rum
Simply the best
The king of aintree the king of the Melling road the king of every thing
Red Rum ran in 5 Grand National's long before the course was totally changed due to calls from so called ' animal rights' people( ignorant gobshites) and RSPCA etc which meant every fence was reduced in height and the famous jumps like ' Beechers Brook' and 'the Chair' were massively altered levelling off the landing side etc.....won 3 finished 2nd twice!!! Absolute legend ❤
