We eat at Buster's BBQ, Evangelines French Creole, Sam's Social Club, Sushi Mumbo and pick up a picnic for one of our adventures at Old Faithful Geyser of California.
Calistoga is in wine county but is known as a spa destination because of the natural hot water springs there. We stay and play at Indian Springs Resort. The pool water temperature is around 100 degrees F and we take a mud bath in volcanic mud and geyser water.
Castelo di Amorosa is a winery built like a Tuscany castle.
Safari West is a 400 acre private wildlife preserve that is like visiting Africa.
Old Faithful Geyser of California erupts on a somewhat regular basis making it a must do attraction in the Calistoga or northern Napa Valley area.
The Petrified Forest is nearby but was closed the day we went.

This was a fantastic tour! Very well put together. Calistoga is an area we really haven't visited and must do. My brother and sis-in-law live in Santa Rosa, and when we visit, we go wine and beer tasting. Next time we visit, we need to make this trip. I have put the Indian Springs Resort on our NorCal bucket list!

I've only been to Calistoga once and it was probably around 25 years ago. I don't remember the castle or the geyser, but downtown almost looks the same. We did mud baths and the most painful massages we have ever had!! We didn't know much about massages back then and when they asked us if we wanted deep tissue, we said "sure". It was definitely deep and painful. lol Great video, I enjoyed it!

Lots of fun. One of the few geysers in the US although I learned this one is man made - they drilled a well into a thermal area and it turned into a geyser. Thanks
