She named and look like a Karen, but she ain't no Karen.
@@noperiod AAVE doesn't use the verb to be.
From what I've seen online, Yanni's is still open today, with the same owners, and doing quite well. Awesome! (Very different from many of the restaurants on KN, who returned to their previous ways or just closed.) It seems that Peter and family took Gordon's lessons to heart, and continue operating the same way now. Good for them! 👏👍
"Our daughter is too emotional".... hum i think she's in depression guys !
The daughter that is always crying is the funniest thing lmao. "Sorry miss, my steak is overcooked." *tears*
Its really annoying.
3:14 Bloody hell.
"It's Tuesday". Tears....
love the "Why are you crying?"
"I don't know..." xD
And then when the three of them are getting ripped apart by Gordon during dinner service she's out there lighting cheese on fire with a smile on her face
The Wife here is just lovely. She doesn't deserve for her husband to talk to her that way. Poor lady...poor kids.
I’m so early I’m fresher then the pigeon in the kitchen
I saw this episode a decade ago
@@Sniperboy5551I wanted to make that exact comment 😂
You really need to calm down being early doesn't mean anything...
@@gracehart4735 thanks for the information I went my whole life without knowing this
@@TheShane209 you are so cringey 😒 wtf.
Little did GR know pumpkin hummus would be a big seller😂
Fun fact the restaurant is still open to this day and Karen and Peter are still there and run the restaurant however Alyse had some trouble with the law and some serious stuff at that can’t remember what happened with the rest of the guys there but I’m pretty sure they were happy
Luckily Yanni’s is still open. I think the owner after is a changed man.
Of course.
Gordon Ramsay is so good at demonstrating the difference between a Leader who empowers people and the Boss who oppresses people.
I'm so early that I'm fresh frozen out of a can
Nothing better than fresh frozen… mmm
the father is a good example of why going into business with family is sometimes not a good idea. also why is everyone being mean to the daughter for crying💀at least she cares and feels something like bro
she's fake and everyone is sick of it. keep crying wolf, eventually people stop caring.
@@yael2998 No, she was crying over everything. Pretty unprofessional.
@@pauljordan4452she obviously has depression and is probably very stressed about work, because it was bleeding money and it’s her family. Touch some grass man.
The daughter that always cries is so beautiful.
She's a spoiled little monster
It’s actually pretty sad when you think about it.
@@c.t.p.9821or very very stressed and depressed.
@@thatchick1205 She's an empath. She feels what others are feeling, but has no outlet for it. No wonder she's so emotional!
The one that's crying all the time is the only one that knows the truth! She knows everything is wrong! Everyone else is just pretending and acting like it's all just fine. The father especially could benefit from some professional counseling. Asap 😢
Isnt greek food suppose to be vibrant and FRESH? I have been to greese and fell in love with all that girgeous fresh colorful food !!!
@@barbaraheed3509 I was on Crete when my youngest aunt turned 50 in July 2010. Sri Lankan lady, late husband was Danish and she is a travel agent who loved Crete and rented villas from a rich industrial designer friend for the whole family. The food was brilliant. I ate watermelon while listening to my cousin's iPod.
That daughter crying is hilarious. Hope she's doing well these days
Is it just me or are Greek women like goddesses?
Not just you, Greek, Scandinavian and Slavic women are all tied for first place

I want to see the walk in cooler before I ever eat out again! Where are the health inspectors?
unfortunately standards between inspectors are not consistent at all and ive seen a health inspector disregard raw chicken dripping into fresh bbq sauce because he was friends with the owner. I was the KM and i had busted my ass to get the kitchen compliant and safe but the owner and GM would get super upset when i would do my checklists and ask them to correct their misses. Like yo, im trying to prevent diarrhea, either do it right, correct your mistakes, or stay out of the kitchen.
They have incentives to have a solid performing district. doesnt have to be solid, just look solid according to records.

*CRIES*
Her father must have been soft on her.
@@romusz As Ramsay might say in disbelief, f*** me.
The girl that cries a lot is cute. I would date her.

father keeps chasing everyone out his kitchen. can you imagine going in to clean things out, he would have chew them out
The wife looks so worn out. I feel bad for her. She has a husband that yells all the time. A daughter that crys 24/7. And the other daughter dosent really care.
I hope things go alot better for this wife. She is so honest and shes really a cool lady.
Classic wives from before the 90s and 2000s just deal with theor shotty kids and husband without dipping lol
@@HashSlingerJesse You make a vow to somebody, you live by it.
genuinely feel bad for the daughter
The mother is a great woman and the smartest person in the family. For any of you that don't know the business, the old food should not be in there in the first place. You do not want fresh food sitting alongside rancid food. They are red flags for food safety, quality, and it effects the food quality of the fresh food that is placed next to it, and it is evidence of a larger problem that the management and staff are not doing their job and not respecting the food. I've never seen a kitchen with rancid food in any of the line coolers, the front of house coolers, the bar coolers, or the walk in coolers. Every morning the prep cook goes through every item in the coolers and in the front coolers to check deserts and salad items while making the prep list for the day. The line cooks check the coolers on the line every morning while preparing the line. If anything at all is in the coolers that is not fresh, it is removed. All of the ingredients are rotated. At the end of service, everything on the line coolers is removed, wrapped, and the inside of the coolers are cleaned with disinfectant. Ramsay was 100% in the right on this kitchen.
I have arrived within the first ten minutes. Faster than the "chef's" tempers
ive been in the back of house at too many seattle and washington restaurants at this point in my life, to trust them as a customer....
All the effort they put into yelling screaming CRYING and cursing at each other is an absolute horrible workplace all they have to do is add alcohol and they would beat each other
My father pushes blame onto everyone else...
Uh huh is that where you learned it from, Alyse?
There was too much cinnamon
Yelling all of the time, blaming other people, including his family, for his mistakes = an abusive man.
Which is why the daughter crys so much. Crying so easily like that is a trauma response and clearly the father dosnt like to be told his food is wrong and in the start she started crying because the food was wrong she said they didn't like the steak or something. She's probably crying in anticipation for the dad's temper. The other daughter is dealing with things in the opposite way where she acts like her father and repeats the same abusive actions he's doing.
The mother is the only one with his head in place.
Wonderful!
Crying girl is the best!
I love Souvalkis, dont know why she wanted it off.
Sometimes keepi g the same menu works, but the memu has to actually be good lol like classic french dishes or classic italian dishes that are good any day of the week. Also it amazes me how people actually serve food that looks like shit
Love to see them at Cafe Vita! Best coffee in Seattle
The girl who cries all the time would be a nightmare to date, i cant imagine her being pregnant, she will cry over anything when shes preg even more so than she does in this vid.
31:52 wow, impressive!
Dude needs to wax his eyebrows....
I feel like that one sister needs to get out of there. Or needs some therapy. At least some therapy. If she is crying that much, she needs help. She is obviously very stressed. I will say it was pretty funny that she was crying over the food just being blah. Too much garlic, cries, too much anything cries lol her sister screaming at her to stop crying did make me alittle sad. That’s just mean. Sure it’s annoying but damn. She probably can’t help it.
Karen and that hair my god
Seattle is bishin' and cod AF
cod flaps top item flap of cod codflap soup and smashin' mashin, the local abottiare
she cried an ocean. no water shortage lol
the one daughter is kinda bad --
If the pressure of being a kitchen (a VERY high-stress environment) makes you cry, get out of that business. It takes a certain caliber of person to work in that industry. I’m sure the family aspect doesn’t help…
Same with working in Fast food
Lopez Dorothy Garcia Mary Rodriguez Betty
Eh were isnrhe English chief not Gordon he's Scottish
are there no inspectors anymore? ffs, the filth in these places, there is no regulation?
STOP CRYING !!!
This girl crys when things are great also.
The water works omg its never ending. Im surprised shes not dehydrated from all the crying.
Stop crying!! She needs a psychiatrist. 😂
She cries even when she realizes she didn't cry for the last thing she was supposed to cry about...
