I have the same processor, and a msi mag b550 tomahawk, i did ther per-core auto overclock and applied, but as soon as i booted the pc immediately restarted and after 3 restarts windows went in bsod..., so i resetted the motherboard bios and everything worked again..., why is this happening? i literally can't touch the overclock section of my cpu...
It really does write in the bios. Although it might be not as consistent as you manually doing it. As what you have seen in the video, I immediately checked in the bios if it applied new settings, that so that I can make sure that it did apply, there are some instances that Ryzen Master doesn't apply.
Hey! Try resetting your bios to default (just enable xmp after) then try running the auto oc. On the first restart, head back to bios and save it as a profile.
How can I set ryzen master to start automatically with windows? is the config saved to the bios or do i have to start the program everytime i restart windows and click on apply?
Config is saved in the bios, you can uninstall the software after doing the auto oc. But just to make sure I made myself a saved config profile on my bios after I did the auto oc, so it is sure to be saved.
Hey what's up. Great Video, I really enjoyed it. I'm pretty sure a PPT of 139 is way low for those TDC/EDC settings. 139 watts can't come close to supplying enough power for TDC of 160 & EDC of 200. Do me a favor, try PPT 130, TDC 85, EDC 110 and let me know what you get in R23 and your temps. If they're good Maybe go as high as +10 on your PBO limits. Play around in that area. Maybe 135/90/115 or 140/95/120. Your R23 score is pretty low on your settings. I've seen a lot of 5800X's in the low 16k range. 15600-15800 average. You could stand to drop 10 degrees also. Even 5 degrees less would be good. Your most likely throttling a little due to those temps. You said tropical weather, what's the ambient temps? The Auto OC almost always chooses -30 offset and that's never really stable. very few chips can do -30 all core. If you really hammer it it will fail at -30 and auto OC settings.
Thank you! Love the feedback. Although if I’m not mistaken I have tried those settings before and didn’t work well with the temps. I’ll try your exact settings when I get some free time! I’m from the Philippines ambient temps really differ day by day but its on the hot side. I think it was 37deg c outside when filming this video ambient temp might even be hotter due to no ac used while filming + humidity. I’ll get back to this comment once I get the time testing. Thank you again for the very informative comment! 😁🙌
So I did some quick runs. Kept the rest of the rm oc settings but slapped the 140/95/120, kept -30 all cores since it was stable for me. 15442 - r23 mc 1576 - r23 sc Temp - same as ryzen master oc All settings: PBO - 140-95-120 Overdrive Scalar - 10x CPU Boost - 200 positive thermal limit - 0 Vcore - -0.012v
@@UnfilteredByts I'm positive your ambient is what is holding you back. It is what it is, hard to change that lol. Did you try the lower settings, the 130/85/110? Seems like that would drop the temps some. During real world heavy loads like gaming, what are your temps like? You're welcome for the feedback. Hope it helped some.
What's a good budget CPU Cooler would you recommend for the Ryzen 5700X3D? planning to use the Ryzen Master as well. What's the difference between "All core" and "Per core"? i'm assuming All core is better as you chose that option over "per core"
Hey I think a good budget CPU cooler for the 5700X3D would be the Scythe Fuma 3 / AK620 for air coolers, for AIO it would be Segotep Frozen 240 AIO. I actually chose All Core just for the sake of this video, since it is faster and just overall more streamlined, although in an actual overclock Per core will always be better to gain a few more performance out of a system chip, but since this is just an auto OC it would not do a very good job for per-core OC anyway.
Hey bro a question. Is it okay to use a overclocked cpu for everyday use(Gaming, light editing, web browsing, and streaming)? I just did the auto OC from the ryzen master (Edit) Filipino ka pala matik subscribed
Try to reset your bios overclock (if there's any) or just make sure to set everything to default on bios and running the Ryzen Master software on Admin.
@@UnfilteredByts boss why does it reset the cpu speed to stock after a pc restart or after bios update. Aren't the changes made by ryzen master permanent?
@@the_krypton1te It is suppose to be permanent, but try the fix that I have said above "Try to reset your bios overclock (if there's any) or just make sure to set everything to default on bios and running the Ryzen Master software on Admin. Before running auto OC"
@@UnfilteredByts the reset happened after I updated the Bios. But so far clock speed is at max 5250mhz and has stayed that way after system reboot. Maybe you have a tutorial on how to overclock manually through BIOS?
nice video thanks a lot for the info

Thanks for the video! it helped a lot.
Glad to hear it helps!
Thanks for the video. Auto overclock great for a casual like me

hello bro, I have done auto oc, but when my pc turns off, they don't save the oc, do you have an explanation. Pls tell me!!!
Hey! Try resetting your bios to default (just enable xmp after) then try running the auto oc. On the first restart, head back to bios and save it as a profile.
Auto overclock is better or procession boost overdrive ??
This AUTO OC mostly does PBO for performance boost.

0 chance of damaging your CPU through Ryzen Master (Auto OC)
