After a few days of occasionally making my rounds through Uldum, I spotted a Real Camel Figurine just earlier after deciding to give it a last shot for the day with WM on! Needless to say, I'm a proud Camel-Hoarder now~ Good Luck to everyone still on the hunt, may RNGesus bless you with lots of mounts!

Saw a couple comments that said they got the mount shortly after watching this video and thought there's no way I'd be so lucky. I literally started dedicating some toons to farming this yesterday across a few realms and WMs. First location I went to, found a figurine. It was fake, but I still thought "hey, pretty good odds finding it at the first spot I went to." This morning, on my second fly through of Uldum, I found the real figurine and got the mount. Camel Spotter was an insane help and I really did get the mount after watching this video! Haha
Thanks for the Camel Spotter shout out. I've found 22 so far and all been fakes, hopefully this addon will bring me luck since it's been a heck of a long time since I've actually found one.
I think I was insanely luck on this one... got mine after 3min of flying in Uldum for the very first hunt on this mount! Couldnt even finish a route before a real camel figurine popped up! thank you so much Feral =)

So after you helped me to get my voidtalon in only 3 days (thanks to your guide) I will start to farm this one :) Do you think we can use the same strat as for voidtalon (use phasing of low level alts, like level 40/50) ?
based on your exprience is how long it takes for a figurine to spawn. i know its 2-8 hours but how often should i check them? like every 2hours? every 4? thanks!
In my discord there's a pinned message that says they aren't, but I haven't seen any proof of it (since it's a semi-rare drop) All I know is that I get oil when I kill them on trials no matter what, but I'm not sure if that's just unlucky, or if they don't drop for trials.
I went to every point an didn't find a single camel but I did find what looked to be an Anubis figurine that I couldn't click on. Any advice? Or experience with this?
Ah I believe those are part of a quest in Uldum, completely unrelated to camels. Give it a try in the early morning hours on your realm, or later at night on weekdays :3
Finally found a fake one. Of course the respawn is super late at night. So my question is there a despawn timer? I couldn't find and answer anywhere. Thanks Feral this is my last rare spawn mount for now 😊
I have never found one in days of searching, what is going on? I am phased in correctly and search every node. Frustrating. Edit: 10+ trial characters later on extremely low pop servers still not even a fake or real figurine. Is this obtainable anymore?
Just double checking.. are you saying that only one figurine is active at a time? Also, did you say that the respawn time is 2-8 hours? (I'm mostly asking because I finally found one and well, it crumbled).
There can only be one up at a time per warmode, (one in warmode on, and another in warmode off) also I hope you looted the crumbled statue, because sometimes the "remains" will stay there for hours and prevent the timer from restarting :c And yes, it is 2-8 hours from the time the statue is looted (or if you get teleported)
Wow, thanks for the quick response. I got the 25g for looting it but that was it. Thanks for the info.. so basically I wasted about an hour afterwards looking for another one haha, great. So... find one, loot it and if I don't get teleported then turn off warmode and keep looking?
@@Father.Beocca Yup, do a scan on the same path warmode off and hopefully find another ^^ if its not up, it's probably on cooldown from another farmer.
Yup just talk to Chromie to go back to Old Uldum, and then follow the guide from there :) *edit errr not Chromie but the bronze dragon that's chilling in Uldum.
I have been unable to find any real answers to this, so i hope you got some insight: High populated zones are divided into shards at X amount of players hanging out in the zone, to prevent crashes and over-population in general. Same system is applied for low populated zones such as Uldum. Does that mean that farming on alts is futile, since the chance of your alt zoning into the exact same shard as your main is pretty high (if not guaranteed), since the amount of shards is really low (if even more than 1 open at a time). This has been bugging me, but can't find any useful information and don't want to waste my time on 3 alts, flying around at the same phased area.
Yep! Dormus shouldn't be too hard of a fight in Chromie Time either. Keep in mind that Chromie Time is all the same phase regardless of what timeline you pick.
I just make some trials then i move them at uldum when i find the camel i just make a grp then i login on my main join the grp logout and the same :)got it on the 3 trial :)
You need to phase to old Uldum to see the figurines. They won't show up under assault.

I'd either be checking constantly on multiple realms and warmodes or just checking whenever 2 hours has passed on the realm I actively check

The two different warmodes are considered two separate realms in terms of rare spawns. Different timers.

You have to loot the dust pile to make sure the timer resets. They don't despawn otherwise ever unless theres a reset :3

Will this still work now that 8.3 came out because of the new things that bin added in the patch or you just talk to chrome to get sent back to time?

Does Uldum reset if no one sets foot in it? Is Chromie time a help for this?
No reset in Uldum outside of regular weekly stuff/maintenance. Chromie time does help because it's an extra "realm" to check :)

I can't tell if I am phased or something in Uldum. I am in old Uldum and I have yet to find a single one flying around by myself in the zone.
They can be heavily farmed sometimes, I have better luck in the early morning and late evening.

You'll definitely most likely phase into the same shard, since Uldum isn't very populated anyway there's usually only one active shard.
