In this clip we take a look at the process of turning this manga into the anime.
Saitama is a hero who only became a hero for fun. After three years of “special” training, though, he’s become so strong that he’s practically invincible. In fact, he’s too strong-even his mightiest opponents are taken out with a single punch, and it turns out that being devastatingly powerful is actually kind of a bore.
With his passion for being a hero lost along with his hair, yet still faced with new enemies every day, how much longer can he keep it going?

It's not madhouse in general, they were lucky to have talented people working for them, heck he even says it
Madhouse and sequels don't go hand in hand.... In most cases anyway.
And the company recently had staffs sueing for crazy workload and workhours. Great quality doesnt come easy.

They did an amazing job with the animations.
honestly i would have rather waited another year or so for season 2 to be animated at a higher quality, but regardless I'm happy that we're even getting a new season

In the pov of audience, It will be great. we can get the best we want. But in the pov of the production house, it will be impossible. because they need to do it as fast as they can. when the production of an anime started, everything they do will be added to the production cost. if they do it slowly, they need to pay the monthly salary for every staff working in the series, so then the cost will be bigger than expected. the most logic thing to do, they need all material need to be complete first, and then they will start hire the staff of productio, and do it as fast as they can..
If i knew this season 2 would’ve been that bad I’d rather shelve the project until the right studio is available.

I hope season 3 is done by these guys cuz the season 2 is OVER SHADED and then too much blending in the shading
And the animation is too bland... Laziness has consumed JC Staff to its bones
J.C Staff thinks its "better" to put more shading and blending when OPM season 1 doesnt have that much shading and is much simpler
The animation looks completely fine, sure it's slower but the artstyle and the effects they're using blend well whit it and it's nice ti watch, and that was even just a glimpse of opm S2 thus the animation could get faster

@@ruthless-ryu8619 I don't know how the anime animation industry works, but many fans expect great animation. So it's disappointing that one punch man which was redrawn really well and animated amazingly in season one end up being animated like this in season 2.

It only takes 6-12 month to make a 12 episode anime TV series

I think it just got revealed that there are only going to be 12 episodes. Which kinda sucks, but I'm still greatful.

I know most western television shows do the same, having a 12 eps 1st season.
Hopefully it'll just be a split cour. I think the Boros arc would be a good place to stop at so Murata-sensei could finish up the Garou arc by the time the second half gets released.

This is why I'm worried about the new season 2. MadHouse did a lot of effort, while JC staff... Well... I just don't know.
Madhouse just suddenly puts the weight of one punch man into JC Staff while JC staff's schedule is busy, they had to rush because they have no choice

"we've got somone very sesitive to art" that line alone tells why opm's first season was legendary
One punch man, one of the most badass anime Ive ever watched and I mean without them many people wouldn't have been greatly impressed or even convinced to watch the whole series.
And now I can really see the difference between their efforts for the series after watching season 2

He said it himself that he took the manga and "tried to make it better" which he absolutely does and he actually makes the entire scene epic like if you were to read the manga and try to imagine it for yourself, its is true that S2 is a bit more dull, its not only because it started focusing on other characters, its also because the studio doesnt try to make the scene more epic then what it already was, it feels dull, even the giant centipede felt meh, they couldve added a ton of explosions and destruction but they decided not to...feels like images form the manga with colors, nothing compared to S1
Also Akanes work looks dope, really impressive how talented she is for her young age, cant imagine the hours she put into
Doesnt try?? Season 2 was made in 4 months only because people rushed them and they have another anime to animate

And it became a mediocre show, animation-wise.

I did watched and enjoyed every detailed moments in One Punch Man series and all because of thinking out of box and working in detailed moment and scenes and am imagining my self working hard with you guys and produce such a great work and be a great name in this content creating industry .

The team that produced the first season was amazing, its not that jc Staff cant its not about the studio its about the people that work there. For season 1 they had new animators almost every episode.
