Well Matsuri has authorization to host a Customs Match, maybe she can invite Astel when she does host it hopefully as a teammate and 1 other Holopro member. Or maybe ShibuHal can invite them both in the same team when he does his weekly ShibuHal Customs given that he knows how their interaction with each other in this tournament.

How far Astel has developed within a year is just amazing. Still remember up to earlier this year he's still having hard time building conversation with anyone outside HS circle. Even collabing with other holomem was like something so distant. That sudden collab with Ollie seemed to be his gateway to go outside the circle.

Matsuri and Astel did so well in this tourney as a leader! Each getting wins in scrims and Matsuri even winning one during the real tournament, securing 4th overall. Astel was leading first timer Choco and I say 13TH is pretty good, they were even 6th at one point. I hope there are more interactions from these two teams that can be clipped! Thank you Zoro Zaki!

1st VSaikyou tournament about a year ago, during the after party. They got paired together since their teams had left, so they had the most awkward yet funny reactions to each other. Astel was stressed out of his mind from social anxiety and coped by being weird af, which Matsuri only amplified, and it made for an amazing collab. I recommend watching the VODs. At the very least there’s a subbed vid of one of the games they played together, where the original VOD a is linked in the description. How to Socialize by Astel. Titled something like that.

They were the only members of their official teams that attended the after party, so they were paired with an indie Vtuber by Shibuyahal to create a haphazard “official” team. They probably played about three games together, not just the one.shuffle round. I recommend watching the full vod after seeing the subbed vid! Every round was great but the last one together was especially fun.

I love that Matsuri is chill collabing with guys and smaller content creators. It's great that she gives them exposure and helps normalise hololive interacting with guys for the crazy viewers who would get pissy.
Well, Matsuri’s been around since before Hololive got really big and was considered just another Vtuber agency. It wasn’t really a strange thing for Hololive members to collab outside of Hololive and Matsuri was always particularly outgoing along with Fubuki. During that time she became friends with many Vtubers who she still occasionally collabs with including Kotone who’s one her teammates in this clip. From Matsuri’s perspective she’s not a celebrity sponsoring others, she’s just another Vtuber.

I don’t believe this due to any sort of official ban but I don’t feel like this is practiced as often as in other Vtuber groups including Holostars. It might be more to do with the individual member’s preferences as there are many members who have never done collabs with many other hololive members and others like Towa have quite a few non Hololive collabs. I know that Covid did make the process of collabs harder for a long while and so perhaps newer members just got used to it.
