Absolutely amazing! I biked across the U.S. from coast-to-coast, and border-to-border (Tijuana, to the Peace Bridge near Niagra, and then on to Maine) and it was a great experience.
I did a road trip to the Pamir Highway form the UK and I can agree totally that the scenery is difficult to describe or show in an image. The people you meet on the way are generous and friendly. I also did a cycle from Ho Chi Minh to Angkor Wat seeing sights you wouldn't in a vehicle. If I can get the money together this is one thing I would love to do.
Wow, great video. Very informative and so much natural beauty. Thanks for sharing. Maybe we will try this route in a vehicle i can't do it on a bicycle.
Did all the riders complete the journey to Istanbul? Did the route pass through wonderful Isfahan in Iran? I bet you need deep pockets for this organised tour. I would like to do a journey like this...but independently carrying my own kit in panniers....in my opinion, travelling indepentaly gives you s much richer experience.
Glad to hear you are interested Simona. Here is a good place to start if you are thinking of joining one of our tours... tdaglobalcycling.com/tda-starter-kit/
TDA guys, please send me good vibes or pray cos this trip is undoubtly the first thing I'd do if ever get a lottery lucky number. I'm putting some coins aside too, but it'd take muuuuch longer. PS. No vacancies? :o) PS2 Just love it
Agree with@@KandiKlover, you can trip to the closest country or just outdoor. For example, for me it's not so expensive :-) I'm live in Kazahstan (My town in Silk route). Good luck and have a nice trip!
From Tehran to the "KURDISH" city of Kars. First of all KARS is a province of Türkiye. So Turkish Republic. If you want to say something about the ethnic composition of this Turkish city , then you have to mention also the Karapapaks, Azeris, Turkmens, Armenians and Kurds. Like one of the cyclist says about Iran: THE WEST likes to paint their narrative about countries and regions thus rising tensions between ethnic groups. Bad detail in an otherwise enjoyable video.
Magnifique 😻 😊
Nice adventure
People, in general, are good, wherever you are in the world. It is the politics that are bad.
Lovely..... Want to repeat it.
Hopefully next year the world gets back to normal...
こんな旅がしたい!
I'm 61, I wish I had known about this 10 or so years ago.
Many past Silk Route riders were your age...or older.

I would die on the uphill climbs. I hate those.
Awesome video! Great editing!

I'd consider doing it...it is very challenging but obviously worth it. I wonder what it takes to get ready for it...

Wow. I can't wait to go one day although I will most likely go self-supported.
That's the only true way to tour.
That’s biketouring
I love touring bike so much. Real touring bike too, not that bikepack stuff all the manufacturers are ruining their good tour lineups for lately.
god bless the western middle class
I dunno, $22k for a vacation seems pretty upper-class to me.
Wonderful and too short!
😊

Who knows the music's name (01.40) ?
HellO there! Is it possible if I cycle from Bejiing to Mongolia and Russia and the route is OK?
our route goes via Mongolia and Russia starting in Beijing but we always check the security situations close to the date we arrive to these regions.
Thank you
Genghis Khan invented the bicycle I think
looks great but shame it costs $22,000
Do it on your own self contained touring and it's much cheaper :3

Punny touring for the rich
An assisted tour for rich whining cyclists, complaining about difficult terrain and having long, hard cycling days! Come on!
Modern-day flagellants? Looking for redemption? For what sins?
