Thanks for the video and helpful tips. Thinking I'll replace thermostat, upper/lower hose, reservoir, block coolant drain, temp sensor o-ring at 116K miles, on a 2005 2.5. Doesn't look too bad but not looking forward to removing the electric fan.
If you are referring to the black cover that sits above the radiator it is simple really. There are two hex screws to undo and some plastic tabs that you can use a flat head on to raise the center pin before pulling the plastic tabs out. Just follow the plastic cover around. For the bottom it is just a bunch of screws holding the plastic cover up. Again, follow the borders of the plastic cover and you will find them.
Hello Taha, sorry I am getting back so late as I did not have notifications turned on. My fault! I imagine you figured it out by now but to those reading this comment, it helps to lube the part with some soap water or a little bit a grease and make sure the clamps are disengaged.
Tell me about it... I have a water pump that I need to install in mine. Been having a small leak from somewhere but have not been able to locate it. I have a newer thermostat and radiator. Already ruled out the reservoir and lines.
Sorry for getting back so late! I am sure you have already replaced it by now but next time I need to replace my radiator hoses I will make a video. Enjoy cruising!

I’m not able to connect to lower hose back on the new thermostat, do you have any ideas on what to do?
