You are doing such a great job ma'am! Giving aspirants an opportunity to hear from the ones who actually experienced the whole process. Showing us the ground reality of how it needs to be done!
If you added English subtitles, that would be good for someone who has difficulty understanding some parts of the conversation. Anyway, thanks to someone whose best intention is to inspire somebody who shares similar fate and values living in the other part of the world.
HI Di! Thankyou for this video. At the time of admission they are making us sign a bond that we cant go abraod upto 5 years after MBBS or pay 10lakhs penalty to the govt! Is this true?
Hey, this video was really helpful, I am a ophthalmology resident in India right now, and I wish to do USMLE after this, so is there any way I could contact this person in the video. It would be of great help. Thankyou!
Hello Ma'am .... I am a first year medical student at Goa Medical College and have decided firmly to pursue USMLE .Is it possible to do an undergraduate research program in the US during my Second year of MBBS ?If so what is the process?
Yes! My schoolmate in the Philippines got matched to Derm :) 250+ both step 1 and 2, 1 year of research fellowship, ~20 published research papers, USCE
Hi mam. It was so useful n inspirational. Thanks for the series. Mam are there really any imgs who got succeeded after having gaps like 2 to 3yrs. I always had usmle in my mind from my 3rd yr, but due to my family background n financial status i took it off from my mind. Now i did a job in a medical college in nonclinical dpt to ear money and prepare for it. Any advice for me mam? Should I continue? Are there really any chances for me now? And I had 1 yr gap too. Its been 2 yrs i completed my graduation. Pls help mam.
Hello mam.. I have given neet this year and going to join PG in india.... But I really want to do usmle.. But bcoz of financial problem I m not able to do so.. Can I do usmle after completion of pg in India? ..is there any problem in match in us in future bcoz of age ??
I concur. As she herself mentioned in the video she had a wider choice as she didnt have to depend on visa sponsoring programs But I believe what worked for her was the US fellowship in ophthal ( which wouldnt have been possible without a home country residency ). And that fellowship acted as a type of USCE, which is otherwise really hard for graduates to get Anyhow it is an inspirational story

Yes you can
People should realize the importance of green card. As Dr. B said she has a green card with her. So she's technically a US IMG and not a NON US IMG.
