The craziest fucking thing is how calm he is after, and how unimpressed he was that he won--instead focusing on his mistakes. Absolute craziness--this guy is the man.
Three legends there at the end of the video. First, of course, is Robert Kubica and his amazing drive on this long stage through the fog to take ~30 seconds from Vaclav Pech (who was about ten seconds ahead before this stage) to win the rally. Second is, of course, the 2 time WRC champ Marcus Grönholm (the tall person). The third one is less obvious and arguably less legendary based on his history. But he is notable nonetheless. The shorter older person is Jean Pierre Nicholas, who is director of the European Rally Championship. He's also a former rally driver who has won several WRC events, and is notable for being the primary test driver during the development of the legendary Peugeot 205 T16.
This video makes me scarry during whole SS18 ;) Robert is the Man from cosmos. That speed, control and feeling mixed together... after what he experienced (not full-health rehabilitation) impresses a lot. Kudos for this Guy!
z00h You have no idea. To win the rally you need both - mixt - skills and luck. First time on that rally, first time in Ford Fiesta, first time with new co-driver, first time on sruded tires... yes that is just luck. BTW german and austrian drivers are slow as fuck and you feel pain in the ass because of that.

It was the last stage, he was loosing 10 seconds to leader, after that he had 20 second advantage. Remarkable.

crazy driving... you dudes realize the camera does not have the same dynamic range as the human eye? to him in the car this it's probably 3x brighter.
