I was confused on why Jacob was so blessed by God. I came across a video that shared God uses flawed people not to highlight the flaw but to show that we all are flawed. He works out his purposes of flawed people who exercise their free will. This shows that God can work out an outcome for people who are working in accordance to their own will.
This chapter, man oh man, when I tell you I had to take a step back. I feel that Simeon and Levi represent something that I hate to say is many people's first reaction. They're wanting to hurt those that have hurt their sister. They were acting on anger, which is never good. While Jacob was worried about himself. Both parties forgot to actually see how Dinah was doing in this certain situation. And both in some ways did not protect Dinah. Man, this chapter was hard to read.
When Jacob says I remember he is Israel go back and read him as him as Israel and esau as Edom and see how it begins to make sense he was focused on the promises of God and how the seed that had to come fourth would come from Israel when he says me he spoke for his whole lineage
Yeah, there were supposed to ask Dinah how she felt about the whole situation and not just leave her out of it. And take her of her too, during that difficult time.
Thanks for this, it was super intense and a bit of a trigger for me however there’s a lot we can all learn from this story and one of them is that we should first and foremost fight for what is right and protect eachother. Thanks for this
We should fight for what is right and protect each other, but what they did wasn't right in God's eyes. Thats why when it comes to their blessings they receive a poor one.

My heart was breaking for Dinah💔🥺 it's so sad. And you're right they were being selfish and acting out of anger.
