I love listening to you alongside reading my bible. I get so much insight and understanding and it is wonderful being part of this platform. Thank you for breaking down the meaning of unleavened bread, circumcision and that God rights every wrong (vengeance is mines says the Lord).
God continue to bless you and your ministry 🙏❤

I noticed a few things in chapter 12. One, in verse 12&13 the Lord said, “I” will pass through Egypt meaning that His presence came down amongst Egypt. And the reason He was taking every human and animal was to show people that He is the one true God. I mean look at verse 38, “Many other people went up with them.” So many people noticed the wonders of God and chose to follow Him because after each wonder he proved time and time again that He is God.

I recently found your channel! As I am reading, studying, and navigating through each chapter, I have now added watching your video at the end of each of my Bible readings. It feels like I am studying with someone and that is always so helpful! Thanks for your insight on yeast representing sin and your insight on circumsicion. Helps a ton to get another persons insight. Not to mention your journal and handwriting are goals!! 🙌🏼

Awesome, I'm having a lil catch up and I so appreciate that you do these weekly! Much easier for me to keep up! :) Loved your thoughts on this and the last as well. I'm so glad we don't have to live by the religious rules now that our Lord has been the ultimate sacrifice, yet another reason to praise him! :)

This was a great chapter! I am so glad you have this because I got a little lost towards the end. I wonder why christians do not observe the passover? It went into such detail I am so glad I got to learn about it.

I was surprised the firstborn of livestock were also killed because I thought the livestock was already dead from another plague.

The Israelites animals weren't dead it was just the Egyptians animals

@@taraann5088 yes but then it goes on to say that the Egyptians firstborn livestock were killed. Weren’t they already dead ?

Valid point. I don't believe God did the plagues day after day but that's how the verses were placed. It could've been plague 1 then next month another plague etc etc and if that's the case they had time to recover

In Exodus chapter 12, God passed over the Israelites when He went through the land of Egypt to kill every firstborn male. Pharaoh refused to obey the Lord and let the Israelites go to worship Him after being warned repetitively.
