What I am learning is that we have to stay faithful because God’s timing might feel so long for us but it is always worth the wait

Joseph’s life shows that everything happens for a reason. To become the great man he was he had to leave his family which his father would have never allowed, so ‘he got sold’. At Egypt ‘he worked as the head of Potiphar’s house’ and ‘managed the prisoners in prison’ , where he acquired the skill for leadership and all that. He became more than qualified for the position he was given. When Pharaoh heard his idea on how to go about gathering for the famine it was clear he has experience and was the man for the job. We and Joseph saw it as suffering but to God it was PREPARATION.
I pray whatever we’re going through right now counts as God’s preparation for something great Amen.
I follow this series and love these videos. Thanks for making them💕💕

The revealing of Gods Sovereignty. I like how Joseph’s sons names mean forgetful and fruitfulness. Look at where we are today. Joseph came through with a good attitude. We have to have the same attitude today. God meant it’s for our good. He’s training us. We have to rejoice in our present blessings and not hanging in the past. Joseph was forgetful and fruitful. He was forgetting and embracing. The blessings of fruitfulness. It’s a tragedy for us because we only remember the painful things people do to us and all we do our whole lives is carry the bitterness. Roots of bitterness seeping down into our hearts. Robs us from peace, joy, and hope. Joseph didn’t do that, he made a new beginning. We need to take off the old hurts and put on a new attitude of faith and love. Look up to the God of unstoppable hope!! Be hopeful! Thank you for the word today.:)

OMG!! Forget and be fruitful. We as believers are to leave our past behind and be fruitful in our ministry. Jesus' public ministry started at age 30. Your lessons make my mind explode with lightbulbs. Thank you so much for your teaching. I have problems with eyestrain/eye fatigue and dryness and it's hard to prepare for my weekly Zoom Bible study by doing much eye work. Your lessons are a life saver to help me feel prepared! 😊 Thanks so much for your ministry 💞🙏🌞

What I noticed in this chapter is that Joseph’s dream is slowly coming true. Especially when the Pharaohs dream was talking about grain. I actually wrote in my prayer journal, God’s timing is the perfect timing.

You know I never connected the grain to the whole picture as well! Thanks for sharing

VS 30 makes me think that we must give Jehovah the glory always even in our lowest times because there will be periods where we are so blessed so successful then we will be happy and give them all the glory in the world or in some cases completely forget to praise Jehovah. However in our lowest times we may be tempted to curse Jehovah but we must remember all the good things He has done for us.

Hi 👋 I'm learning the bible and loving it. Also I'm really enjoying your videos they help me out a lot when studying. But I have a question. When you say favor does that mean blessing? I know that's an odd question but I hope you get the time to answer it for me. God bless you and keep up the good work.

    • @BibleBujo

Hello! I think favor is anything that God blesses with that we then bless others with. Just my opinion though!

It is my belief that the butler conveniently forgot about Joseph as it might dredge up negative memories about himself the Pharaoh. Then he "remembers" Joseph when it benefits him. Yet, above all, it was in God's own time anyway. God is always in control.
