I remember seeing a ton of punk bands back in the 90's like NOFX, Lag Wagon, Face To Face, Strung Out, No Use etc and i never remember seeing them use any kind of pedals if anything they had rack Tuners but that was it and they either played JCM 900's or Dual & Triple Rectifier's. I think the interviewer was trying to find stuff to talk about because they use such little gear and maybe because the guitarists were gear heads they didn't go into intricate details but the bassist seemed to know the most about his gear. Some one here mentioned the guy's SG not taking a nose dive even though he wasn't holding it, i know what he's talking about because my Epiphone SG 400 seems to have a brick for a neck and if you don't hold it down it goes!
It's annoying when the reporters are the ones talking, it'd be nicer if you stuck to asking questions (Like R. Dirk, she does it perfectly). Thanks for a great channel!
Last time I checked EMG 85 has gold logo on the pickup and not grey. EMG 60 has a grey logo on it. So it indeed isn't 81/85 set as the interviewer answered for the player. Have no idea why he agreed on it. And the LTD EC's have come with 81/60 set for years, don't even remember them coming with 85. But do these people, players and interviewers alike, know what they're talking about.
i find that interviewer annoying, sorry. from the aggresive angled handshake thing; the trying to be cool thing; interruptions; ''awesome!"; the leaning on their amp heads is rude.
Anybody who knows the band, knows that they Mesa amps, an SG and an Eclipse. In Europe, I've seen them use Diezels before but that's probably due to gear rentals.

Rig Rundowns its been sucking around since a while, can you please guy do rigs to some real artist and not bands 5 years old? and bring back rebecca too!!!
Omg please these ridic "bands." Where does PG find them? Find the nearest 13 year old and ask what he likes. How do you talk for 10 minutes about some old 90's Recs, chinese guitars and a tube screamer?
Matt Sushi nah this shit is indeed wack. i mean, i've never heard of these guys and it doesn't help their rigs are painfully simple. i guess if you like them 13 minutes of talking about generic gear is well-worth one's time???
'Bands like this' tour all over the world and play to thousands of people, you know like actual musicians and stuff? This may not apply in your case but in general you don't have to do much reading between the lines to see that all the negative comments on these rig rundowns come from bitter frustrated players that got stuck in covers bands or never devoted the time and effort to making a living from their own music.
Lol. People have opinions dude. The way the world is. Miley Cyrus tours around the world too bro. Bought and paid for canned BS. Should we refrain from saying anything about them?? You're just butthurt because a band YOU thought was awesome is really a POS. Let people say what they say man. You do what you do.
can we please talk about that dolphin spin around 0:13
I saw that and was like "he must be a gymnast" haha.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Yaassss 😁
Legendary
i love the fact that they can tear you down with the most basic setup ever, no fancy stuff, just raw shit
This guy just drank an entire pot of coffee before the interview
haha he looks like an aderall addict but i like him, he is nice and knows what he is talking about
DO MORE BANDS FROM THE SCENES LIKE CBK PLEASE!?!
"Ya its got that mid hump"
"Oh cool a mid scoop"
LOL
He said mid-cut
Pretty sure he said, "mid cut"
We need a updated Comeback kid rig rundown!
Winnipeg legends!!! Thanks for doing such a cool rundown
I love pedals and gadgets as much as the next guitarist, but this is how it's done! Dream rig
For fucks sake, just the let the guys answer themselves
Stu: I've seen some gnarly things happen to pedalboards because of stage divers.
Perry: yeah I had water dumped on mine.
🤣🤣🤣

Get a good strap and it doesn't move. I had that happen with a Epi G-400 vintage and would always neck dive, but after the strap I had no issues.
Please stop cutting them off.
Oh man, he's brutal
the gear behind is shown in a rig rundown video as well
LOL @ the Four Year Strong rig in the background! Saw them together at Opera House Toronto GREAT SHOW
Yeah the rig rundown for Four Year Strong is from this same show haha

i want to know how the first guy has it so his SG doesnt neck dive. anyone know or notice something i didnt?
Try different straps. Some are slippery than others.
a gibson sg doesn't neck dive.
You can actually put the quickstick wheel weights inside the back cavity to counteract neck dive.
Nick Baskerville scuba diving weights
Can we please have the EQ placement on the triple recto solo heads ??
Devin Townsend's a pretty awesome dude all around.

I have 81/85's. They have gray lettering.
Well Hiebert and Stew both said they're not gear guys. They play what sounds best for the music they write. No brainer.
WHOOOOO! Capsize hoodie ftw
Watched this to see which Orange heads they were using and realised halfway through they are Four Year Strong's!
Does anyone know where I can purchase that exact EC1000T that Stu has? I've been looking everywhere :(
I think they discontinued the black model. I was looking for it too, but I had to settle for the new tobacco burst one.
Orange heads in back round must be for decoration as there not much good for anything else. They make great door stops and paper weights too
its Four Year Strongs rig
If you don't like Orange amps, you have the worst taste in tone ever
Do Blood Red Shoes please! would be awesome
I added this guy on my facebook. He is really cool
The demo in the beginning the guitars are really buried in the mix.
