Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 10 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have two boys named Luke and Leon and a new baby girl named Lyla. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 8 years.

I am here in Koh Samui and dropped by to your restaurant hoping to see you, Wat and the whole family:). Nom, Sonawen, Layla were there :) , which was great too! I took pictures :). I had the hummus platter and it was delicious. After eating, Nom offered a complimentary slice of cake ! That was vey nice of her! Thank you Nom. We tried to come and visit the restaurant when we were in Samui end of September but you were closed. Hopefully our next trip you’ll be open!
I don’t know why people’s bringing kids to the restaurant to hang out there when customers eating food 😉I never seen it in other countries
Maybe in Taiwan is common.
It’s downright rude! People are on vacation to enjoy dining etc .. they don’t want to be at a daycare dodging children and the noise from children! So odd to have customers enduring this behaviour at a restaurant!

Yes....nam does alot for these kids. Wat and Lilly haven't had to do it all themselves....some parents prefer to do it all themselves others don't ...but they seem happy and it's good for Nam's future and her family tho I wonder when she will start a life of her own

Those that don't like it, can go to another restaurant that don't have children. It's all about choices, and theirs is to keep their children close with the family.

I just dream of living in Thailand 😢 I’m 33 years old with no children or a husband yet, and I live in Ohio. It’s freezing here, I’m miserable at my job and I truly just want to run away. My family lives here and I’ve lived in Thailand before and felt super lonely. But when I come back home to Ohio, I always want to leave again. It’s so cold here in Ohio 😢. When I watch your videos, it’s so comforting and soothing but at the same time, I wish I were there too. Just to run away from this toxic American way of life. Full of bondage chains and misery.
Life is full of ups and downs. Just take it one day at a time.
