Hi my name is Lilly and I am an American expat living on the island of Koh Samui in the gulf of Thailand for the last 10 years. My husband is Thai and his name is Wat. We have two boys named Luke and Leon and a new baby girl named Lyla. Nam is our Nanny and she is like family to us. She is from Myanmar and has worked for us for over 8 years.

Lilly, I find that sour and fermented foods (sauerkraut, pickled things, anything sour) really help with sugar cravings. When I watch your videos, I pray that all four children (your three and Nam's son) in your household grow to be mighty men and women of God who stay close to Jesus all their days.

Wow your dealings with a some what mentally challenged man, which initially would’ve been good to help in Nam’s home country, but how bizarre your next interaction went with him. I was astonished that anyone could offer you up (& your money) for the peoples benefit. That would work if you were Bill Gates etc & I am sure in that position you would be there with your family & extended family (Nam & gorgeous son) in a heartbeat. I have never received a pay cheque from God. If you have please send a memo, because mine is late, lol.
It reminds me of a joke actually. A man goes into an Italian church and on the wall was a pay phone with a sign saying; ‘calls direct to God 900 euros’. A day later in Spain the man went to pray in a French church and a payphone on the wall said ‘Calls direct to God 1500 francs. Wow he thought it’s expensive. Then he goes to an Aussie church. Walked in to pray and saw a payphone with a sign saying, ‘direct calls to God… 50 Cents’, when he saw this he asked a pastor why they were letting people ring God for free but in Spain and France the payphone asked for a lot more money. The vicar laughed and said “my dear man, that’s easy it’s only a local call from here, Australia is heaven on Earth.’ This is a very old joke & I changed the cities and suggested no particular religion, nor did I comment this joke to upset anyone, I just thought it suited the topic. ❤❤❤ God bless everyone and be careful, it feels like the worlds gone mad at the moment. I told the joke because I was a bit creeped out by Lilly's story, it just goes to show how much the scammers expect but how they are wolves in sheep's clothing & for people online or creators in particular they "think" they know Lilly (plus family) but they don't know Lilly in truth. They call it a parasocial relationship. One day I want to visit their island and their restaurant but I would never just presume to be besties. However they think they know enough to see Lilly's devotion to the Lord and empathy to the horrors taking place in the world, so I thought the joke fit the extremism from that particular dude. I most certainly do not wish to offend by telling this joke and obviously I did not offend Lily as it was a highlighted comment.

Koh Samui has changed so much! We visited in 2006. The largest retail place was a Tesco. Half the island was covered in small forests, and there were only 3 or 4 really luxurious 5* hotels.

PS: I am also struggling with a terrible sugar addiction...It's always a challenged I know I use it as a way to sweeten my life since I have no partner.

There’s foods that help get rid of sugar cravings. I’ve had sugar cravings since I was very small. I know green beans get rid of the craving. I forgot what else helps. I had stopped awhile back eating unhealthy foods, and a lot of breads, etc…. The hot tea with acv, and honey helped a lot. Lemon water like you suggested helps as well.

I’d found that sugars give a person an initial boost of zip but bring people into a low. Leaves you feeling draggy. I’m thankful that my body has developed an allergy to sugars. I have no cravings for sweets. The sugars burn my body so I have no desire for sweetened foods either.

I am a food controled diabetic So I have not had refined sugars in 30 years. Because everything you eat some portion turns to sugar in your system. I praise the Lord I don’t crave sugars. Because that would be hard. Praying for you Lily. Blessings 😊
