This channel has not only made me more keen to watch darts, but I've also gone and bought tungstens and a match board. Truly love the game ❤
Hope it wasn't a Unicorn ;)
thats a great move from inspiration . I did that too years ago .....and i love playing as well
Where about are you
Is the tournament blade 6 any good
That Gary - Mensur final from 2018 was something else. I almost had a stroke when watching 😂
Pervert 😂
one of the best finals in my opinion.
2007: "Mind the name. I say the future World Champion, James Wade!"
2023: Sixteen years on and still waiting.
Looks like James has recently found some of his old form. Love to see him get a 2nd World Matchplay title and that elusive World Championship. With all that he's done for darts, he doesn't deserve to be known as "the greatest player to never win the World Championship". Go Wadey!!!
❤🎉😅❤❤❤
Wadey has a chance but they are numerous solid players that could eliminate him ......I wish him the best anyway
2012 was his shot. 5-1 up against Lewis who's head had gone. Missed a match dart at 5-2, Lewis took out 98 for the set, and won every single leg from there on out. No doubt he'd have beaten Hamilton in the final had he won. Crazy to me he's never even made a world final.

Wames Jade has been in the Top 16 for decades, which in itself is a unique achievement.
As amazing as it was Phil’s 9 darter wasn’t the first live one on tv. That honour fell to Shaun Greatbatch a year before in the Dutch open
The early Matchplays would be my favourites and great commentary too from Sid,John and Dave🎙🎯
best days
Andersons 9 against Cullen was special
How about harrington’s 125 finish against Ronnie Baxter? Treble 15 tops tops.
That was nuts fam
Great shout 👍
ooooooh its gonna be great this year!
taylor hammering mvg in second round game after mvg texting vdv after easy first round win v whitlock ,got taylor's back up
thx for the video love u pdc (:
Gotta Love the DARTS!!!! 🎯
Hoping Anderson cross or wright win their 2nd match play this event is going to be so entertaining
Pineapple Wright was the best Wright
Lloydys big fish was epic
Taylor vs Lewis 2013 final?
About iconic moments of matchplay.. In this video, in reference to final from 2018, also should be allowed a leg 38 and Gary's bounce moment
Why you left out Wrights dominant display in 2021? A shame.
Barry Lutler is still playing, hope he makes a comeback from that.
damn, I almost forgot what an awful throw Pipe had
It was on purpose, too, that's the thing. Glad he isn't playing anymore. He was just one of those jerk players that relied on throwing slowly to try and throw off opponents on timing their throws.
Shows how much money used to be in darts. 100,000 pound for a 9 darter back then
Best of 35?! I thought first to 8 was long...
Why isn't Cross incredible comeback against Gurney in this?
It's the greatest comeback in World Matchplay history but we get to see 9 Darter after 9 Darter...
He kisses manleys belly button 😂😂
Let's go MVG the goat 🏆🏆🏆
Torthon vs wade?? 2 9ers in a match
That was the Grand Prix not the Matchplay.
Houdini covered in vaseline
OMG I AM NOT FIRST
Ha Ha 😂😂

I am an American. After viewing Trump for years now, isn't it a wonderful to see true SPORTSMEN enjoying opponents success? No cry babies or whiners in the mix. Darts has a magic. It has this wonderful ebb & flow that create brilliant moments in time. The nine daters where both parties are involved and both delighted with the outcomes. You can almost feel an opponent genuinely rooting for his rival's success. Acknowledgement of a timely double or bullseye or ton+ checkout is almost standard etiquette. Lends itself to great television. What a game! Callen Rydz being the exception to the darting rule, though. Rydz is the Donald Trump of darts. Loses all the time, bad comb-over, and a guy who always feels/looks like he got cheated somehow.
Trump 🇺🇸💪
Well Trump in British English means 'fart' which often amuses Americans who did not know it. Having said that, darts players, when they lose, don't lose to a senile old national embarrassment under highly dubious circumstances, so it's easier to be sporting.
@@christrickett3291 Highly dubious? That's a larf(Brit slang?). Highly dubious.... geezus! You must be a Brexit guy. Your assessment of the US Election is highly dubious. Yes, a senile national embarrassment who spent his career feckin' the downtrodden, to be sure, yet he got SOME infrastructure done. Plus, the man pays his Contractors.
