I really loved this video. I never once considered contrasting the power/talents of the mercs in said infamous shorts that get to show how larger than life or just mindless fodder to another player. Peak tf2 in a way. All players have the same toolkit when using same character, but damn if it isn’t a world of a difference playing against those who are masters.

I was watching this and only stopped it at the end because of the joke catching me off guard both due to how simple yet brilliant it was but also because how well it tied down the topic of the video.
I then looked at the number of likes and was astounded by how low it is!
How am I only the 30th person to like it?!
Posted two weeks ago? And still only 600 views?!
How is such great content overlooked?!
The video began with a simple question and expanded seamlessly to explore the topic. It was a very good comparison with side being taken and no solution being put above others (although I have detected a subtle hint of a side being taken ;)).
It was a good look at the different approaches both games take to their characters and gameplay.
Although I knew that the tf2 characters are quite moldable, with things like cosmetics being able to make that one particular merc yours.
What I haven't thought about was how the skill of the merc as perceived was greatly influenced by how the players feel themselves playing with them.
It is great to see new tftoobers popping up every once in a while, it shows that no matter the state of the game, the community is and will be forever growing.
I'll have to share this with my friends and check out the rest of the channel.
Such a fine work this is!
