26 years later and I still love this woman to death. I have seen almost all her movies, watch every interview and I am so glad Mia (who I still remember Kate being pregnant with!) is coming into movies and shows now as well.

Kate Winslet is not what she seems. She threatened an author, via her lawyer, to never try and write a biography on her. Most people will say it's because she values her privacy. That is of course true. But it is a little more sinister than that. I happen to know, from impeccable sources that she was, and probably still is, a terrible bully. She most likely was when she was at school. I'm not sure what she was like at school but i do remember her giving several interviews about how she was bullied when she was at school. I have heard, sometimes that can make you become a bully. Or she just made it up. Id love to hear from people who were at school with her. It was during her early acting career she would set her sights on someone and make their lives a misery. She was a mean spiteful girl who took great pleasure at making someone so miserable that they dread going into work every day, even though its their dream job. I would love someone like Tom Bower to write her biography if he was able to overcome the threats of her lawyers, but I doubt he can. The only kind of writer she would allow is someone like Omid Scobie was to Meghan Markle. She is a bit like Meghan, except Kate is talented and more cunning than Meghan
Please tell me she didn't do something to her eyes. It's like an epidemic, beautiful women think the skin over their eyes isn't pretty. Princess Catherine did it, Peri Gilpin (Frasier) has done it now, Renee Zelwegger, Anna Kournikova. The results all look the same. They lose their special look.
This seems to have been critically panned which I really don't understand. The series was very gripping, I never knew what was going to happen next, edge of my seat, it was beautiful visually and often hilarious. It's a huge, grand production. And most of all it had a very clear point relating to the REAL WORLD, things that have REALLY HAPPENED, kind of like portraying a female Hitler... There were also parts that were reminiscent of Trump. And then theres all this criticism saying it's too far fetched, to people not get that its meant to be satire? I found it incredibly entertaining and a very, very fun series to watch
