I was a driver for Dominos and once in a while I was asked to help top pizzas . My boss would get mad at me cuz I " over topped the pizzas" , I replied that I was making them the way I as a customer wanted them to be not skimpy and had to count the pepperoni and limit the cheese instead. Well some customers got decent topped pies from me .

Pepperoni aside, lets not miss the point he's trying to make: don't advertise what you're not actually going to be able to give customers what they came to you for. While anyone who has ever taken a business class would know that it's bad business to not make a profit, it is even worse business to turn a paying customer into your enemy via your shady business practices... particularly a customer who has OVER TWO POINT FIVE MILLION followers.

That's true but it's just one location and Little Ceasars are Franchised. Instead of just increasing the price they actually offer you more which is considerate of the customers and rare for a company to do. Businesses hardly ever do something like that.

As a former Little Ceasers employee (and this may have only been my location mind you) when we had extra cheese promotions we would just put less cheese on the regular pizza. We were of course instructed to do this, every time we ran one.

Ironically, the Little Caesar’s ad for this “bs” pizza interrupted the middle of this video while I was watching. The pizza in the ad did have more pepperoni on it, and looked nothing like the pizza you reviewed…
As an employee for Little Ceasars, I can confirm that the amount of pepperoni has indeed changed to 40 slices per pizza. Unfortunately, some stores are still trying to get out of the habit of the old 30 slice method, since it's been a thing for so very long. We have guides on walls but during rush hours, sometimes it's tough to remember there's a new way if doing things when your brain goes off repetitive motor instinct. And to argue about "well what about the managers, what are they doing?" Well...we can't inspect every last pizza being made, sadly. So much goes on at once and we can't breathe down everyone's shoulders and whisper in their ear "you did it wrong". I won't say it's justified, because I do recognize it's wrong to send out a pizza not up to standard. I hope other ongoing employees see this video and receive an eye opener to be more careful with their store orders, as well as their coworkers. Had this been my store you got the incorrect pizza from, I would've been incredibly upset. Much more than I am now

I had been thinking that perhaps they made the change differently, such as thicker slices of pepperoni (although it definitely didn't look like it); so I am pleased to know that this was indeed how it was supposed to be. I too worked at a few different pizza places when I was younger, though not Little Caesars, and do understand that mistakes can happen, especially with a new change to a long standing standard method of preparation. I do hope that he contacted the store to let them know about this, and that the manager handled it appropriately.

I'm not defending them or saying it's fine, they should absolutely give out refunds and all, but when you have 1000 people making pizzas with 30 pieces of something every time and then you tell them all to use 40 from now on, of COURSE a lot are going to mess it up.

As a worker myself ur regional manager prob ain’t doing his job right they should get a package in the mail 2 weeks before with instructions and information regarding any new pizza or price changes
It depends on the store, for ours we make the normal pepperoni pizza as an extra most bestest pepperoni now, but the extra most bestest pep has cheese sprinkled on top of the pepperoni.
He is really fighting for all of us & holding everyone accountable for just thinking we will accept false advertising when they know 90% of us won't go into depth on really counting or refusing to buy a deal. I do love the Hot N Ready... just a simple and cheap product. I can't count how many times I've been running around doing shopping, visiting people while going to one side of town to the other, forgetting to pick something up at the hardware store, then you realize you haven't eaten anything all day and drive right by a Little Casar's on the way home. For the price of a gallon of gas, you can have dinner and breakfast by yourself with one of these pies.

This is, by far, my favorite episode of Food Review. I also counted thirty one slices (decided to pause and count myself before you counted) because just looking at the pizza I knew there weren't forty slices. The fact you stopped yourself from taking a bite just to take off a tie, not just the fact that it was a Little Caesar's tie, and threw it on the ground was truly astonishing. A man of class such as yourself would never do something like that unless there was a perfectly good reason and this disappointment of a "33% increase" of pepperoni is a damn good reason. Reviewbrah, I am ticked off with you and I totally understand the issue. It's about integrity. And we accept the dishonesty, that's exactly what we will get. The public gets the minimum they will accept. That's the general rule of all business. The first thought I had when I saw that pizza was, "umm no way is that ANY more pepp. So yeah, thank you for keeping YOUR integrity.
This is one of my pet peeves, from any pizza place. Often I would deliberately order extra toppings (pay the extra cost) so that it would be full of toppings. Often that means they send me the pizza with more variety of toppings and make it symmetrical, but I wasn't paying for symmetry. I was paying for extra toppings. I was paying for extra, not that the gaps would still be filled in the same. That means you have the same amount of grams of a topping as you always would on each pizza. EACH TOPPING. Not reduce the amount of some toppings and fill in the space with the extra that I ordered. That is called theft.
Try to order triple pepperoni. Any pizza place will take that order, then see if you ever could tell the difference between any of them giving you double or triple. Makes me extremely mad, I want my pizza covered in pepperoni dammit and it's always a total crapshoot. I can't tell them I'm going to count the pieces and send it back if I get shorted, that's just rude, and I hate sending orders back, so I just never order anything other than double pepperoni, even though in my heart I want triple.

Every time I order pasta somewhere and ask for extra sauce I never get it. I’ve been to places that skimp so much on sauce but otherwise it would be really good. So I make it a point to order more and it always ends up the same amount. :( I’ll miss Rose-something or other, they had the best penne and the perfect amount of sauce. (We moved away: only got to eat there two times but it was flawless both times)
People need to stop saying our expectations should be lower just because of the cheap price. It wasn't as advertised, plain and simple, no matter what the cost. They set that price as a selling point. That doesn't mean they can get away with not holding up their end of the bargain.

No joke my wife ordered this pizza, about an hour after this video because we had some guest over. We got three pizzas two had 30 slices and one had 31. The taste was awesome but without this video I wouldn't have counted. You never disappoint Sir'

I’m really not going to lie, at first I kinda thought a big fuss was being made, but he’s actually 100% right - If we’re talking numbers and they’re not delivering what they advertise, then we have an issue. Not the object, but the principle. Why make the promise if they’re not going to deliver it. Big companies do this all the time and get away with it, so matter of a fact - he has every right to capitalize on this pepperoni crisis.

I can not believe it. That’s the most violent thing I’ve seen Review Brah do when he took off that tie and throw it across the room. Ironically, the Little Caesar’s ad for this “bs” pizza interrupted the middle of this video while I was watching. The pizza in the ad did have more pepperoni on it, and looked nothing like the pizza you reviewed…

As an employee for Little Ceasars, I can confirm that the amount of pepperoni has indeed changed to 40 slices per pizza. Unfortunately, some stores are still trying to get out of the habit of the old 30 slice method, since it's been a thing for so very long. We have guides on walls but during rush hours, sometimes it's tough to remember there's a new way if doing things when your brain goes off repetitive motor instinct. And to argue about "well what about the managers, what are they doing?" Well...we can't inspect every last pizza being made, sadly. So much goes on at once and we can't breathe down everyone's shoulders and whisper in their ear "you did it wrong".
I won't say it's justified, because I do recognize it's wrong to send out a pizza not up to standard. I hope other ongoing employees see this video and receive an eye opener to be more careful with their store orders, as well as their coworkers. Had this been my store you got the incorrect pizza from, I would've been incredibly upset. Much more than I am now
Thank you for saying this. I had been thinking that perhaps they made the change differently, such as thicker slices of pepperoni (although it definitely didn't look like it); so I am pleased to know that this was indeed how it was supposed to be.
I too worked at a few different pizza places when I was younger, though not Little Caesars, and do understand that mistakes can happen, especially with a new change to a long standing standard method of preparation. I do hope that he contacted the store to let them know about this, and that the manager handled it appropriately.

I'm not defending them or saying it's fine, they should absolutely give out refunds and all, but when you have 1000 people making pizzas with 30 pieces of something every time and then you tell them all to use 40 from now on, of COURSE a lot are going to mess it up.

It depends on the store, for ours we make the normal pepperoni pizza as an extra most bestest pepperoni now, but the extra most bestest pep has cheese sprinkled on top of the pepperoni.

I do love the Hot N Ready... just a simple and cheap product. I can't count how many times I've been running around doing shopping, visiting people while going to one side of town to the other, forgetting to pick something up at the hardware store, then you realize you haven't eaten anything all day and drive right by a Little Casar's on the way home. For the price of a gallon of gas, you can have dinner and breakfast by yourself with one of these pies.

I also counted thirty one slices (decided to pause and count myself before you counted) because just looking at the pizza I knew there weren't forty slices. The fact you stopped yourself from taking a bite just to take off a tie, not just the fact that it was a Little Caesar's tie, and threw it on the ground was truly astonishing. A man of class such as yourself would never do something like that unless there was a perfectly good reason and this disappointment of a "33% increase" of pepperoni is a damn good reason. This is one of my pet peeves, from any pizza place. Often I would deliberately order extra toppings (pay the extra cost) so that it would be full of toppings. Often that means they send me the pizza with more variety of toppings and make it symmetrical, but I wasn't paying for symmetry. I was paying for extra toppings. I was paying for extra, not that the gaps would still be filled in the same.
That means you have the same amount of grams of a topping as you always would on each pizza. EACH TOPPING. Not reduce the amount of some toppings and fill in the space with the extra that I ordered. That is called theft.

Try to order triple pepperoni. Any pizza place will take that order, then see if you ever could tell the difference between any of them giving you double or triple. Makes me extremely mad, I want my pizza covered in pepperoni dammit and it's always a total crapshoot.
I can't tell them I'm going to count the pieces and send it back if I get shorted, that's just rude, and I hate sending orders back, so I just never order anything other than double pepperoni, even though in my heart I want triple.

Every time I order pasta somewhere and ask for extra sauce I never get it. I’ve been to places that skimp so much on sauce but otherwise it would be really good. So I make it a point to order more and it always ends up the same amount. :( I’ll miss Rose-something or other, they had the best penne and the perfect amount of sauce. (We moved away: only got to eat there two times but it was flawless both times)

People need to stop saying our expectations should be lower just because of the cheap price. It wasn't as advertised, plain and simple, no matter what the cost. They set that price as a selling point. That doesn't mean they can get away with not holding up their end of the bargain.

I dont think any of them sponsor him and that's why he gets to be so honest, it would be unethical to take money for a product and call it a review when it's more of a commercial.

No joke my wife ordered this pizza, about an hour after this video because we had some guest over. We got three pizzas two had 30 slices and one had 31. The taste was awesome but without this video I wouldn't have counted.
