She's so innocent in the first game. So trusting and hopeful, but we see how she progressively loses her humanity in the second game. Really hope the HBO series does a good job showing us that change.
When i found out that the last of us was getting a show i was so excited but after watching i wish it never happened because it is significantly worse than the game and it pains me to think that there are some people that never played the original and only watched the show

You don't need big muscles to be strong. While I agree she's not the physically strongest character she is strong some. You can see this is her build. Her muscles are noticeable and realistically she probably has good core strength. Though you're right about the weapons. Joel taught her well.
@shilo2972 the ony physical combat she takes part in us using weapons, because we all know that iff she starting getting into fist fights she would get dropped pretty quickly When it comes to games and movies I like to point out characters biggest strengths and weaknesses and ellies biggest weaknesses would be either physical strength or a fist fight Yes her skill of weapons does make up for that I'm just saying that she never uses her fists it's alwayse melee weapons or her knife because even she knows in a h2h fight she getting dropped but she's still alive because she knows her way around guns
