Zinc supplements can cause a copper deficiency..safer to get zinc from food "Anemia and neutropenia developed in a man who took pharmacologic doses of supplemental zinc. Laboratory investigation showed high zinc level, copper deficiency, low ceruloplasmin level, and ringed sideroblasts. All resolved after withdrawal of zinc. Self-administered zinc appears to have caused severe copper deficiency, with secondary anemia and neutropenia. Physicians should be aware of this deleterious and completely reversible effect of megadose mineral therapy. Zinc ingestion or exposure should be considered in the differential diagnosis of unexplained anemia, leukopenia, or sideroblastic anemia."----American Journal of Hematology

Warm for sure just gotta know what to wear but -20 actually feels warmer than say -8 mostly because-20is dryer -8 is very humid witch makes it feel even colder have a good one

Hi doctor I would like to know. Since I eat rice and it is a phytate. I take zinc supplement. Can I know when should I take the supplement to void the phytate blocking the absorption?
For hair its typically around 8-11 milligrams for women and 11-13 milligrams for men. Also, many alternative and integrative practitioners recommend a ratio of 15 mg of zinc to 1 mg of copper - similar to the ratio achieved if you remain within RDA guidelines. Which may be possible to attain from diet.
Zinc, along with other minerals really helps so many things within the body..men, it's great for keeping your prostate in check along with great for your skin and hair.

Hey, 50mg is way too high my friend. Hopefully you've brought it down to a healthy 15-20mg for long term use.
take 2mg copper after 12hr too. otherwise your hair will turn gray.
