I loved the early morning walk to the station. The hooting just doesn't seem to stop. Enjoyed the train ride. Missing it here in Cape Town. The wall murals are absolutely beautiful. Comfortable looking bed, hope you had a great nap. ❤

Hey, hey, Sir Willie!! Always a great adventure tagging along with you! And a light-bulb went on this time! Never had them before, so I ordered some Marie Biscuits. So watching your next video, I'll try them with a cup of tea ... see, hear, taste a bit of your fun times. Quick question: what tea shall it be ... your expertise appreciated? What's big in India? Stay safe, have fun, thanks for sharing, as always. Greetings from TUS.
Cheers Jim! Always a pleasure. The Marie biscuits was a big surprise, it is a very common product on the supermarket shelves in South Africa and something I'm very familiar with. It was almost like a taste of home away from home. As for the tea, I would recommend some Earl Grey or a Darjeeling! Greetings
Scary so early morning in that dark alley! Not sure I would have had the metal to walk there and then. And crazy the number of people on the floor of what I presume is the departure lounge in the train station. You connect expertly with the locals over cricket.
It was very interesting to experience Paharganj and the station at that time! The number of people on the floor was concerning especially as it appeared that many spent the night there. Could not be a comfortable experience. That cricket book and the banter about recent matches were important hooks (no cricket pun intended!). Appreciate the support!
If you spend so low you will get this type of service only boss..like you could have took Delhi to Agra vande Bharath train is the best in class..fully modern train..you could have took very good hotel even for one night ..as you said you expected 5 star or something..aur might be anb also works ..could have booked uber for one day and lot of things you could have done differently if you would planed everything..like hotel on Google maps review..trains..cab..even taj Mahal ticket online.. everything..online..so no difficulties you would have faced..next time plan thing's well👍 have a great journey ahead 👍
True. Whenever someone lands in Delhi, the first place they go to is Pahadganj, the most shady place of not just Delhi, but entire India. Don't know why?
Namaste my friend, thanks for watching and commenting! I did not expect a five star hotel. What I said was what I got was definitely not five star. I knew it was not going to be luxury. I much prefer travelling on a budget than splashing out. Cheers for the support!

Woww, Jesusss! 😂😂 A Quite day in India, I suppose! 🤣🤣 Beautiful! Value for money for sure! My question is, are there a lot mosquitoes 🦟 where you are? How big and how dangerous is this problem coming from the uk? I’ve been unable to protect myself from the mosquitoes in Jamaica, nothing works, but thank god they are relatively harmless! But what about in India?
Hi Bip! It was a very interesting day that is for sure. Good question on the mosquitoes. My understanding is that there are many in the rainy season. I did not encounter many but there certainly were some. As for malaria, I believe it is not a huge issue in the parts I visited (Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan) and anti-malarials are not usually advised unless you visit eastern parts such as Odisha (as per the website FitForTravel). Hope this helps and that you managed to stay safe in Jamaica! Greetings
Bro why you people stay in the cheapest hotel and dirtiest location of agra. There are dozens of 4 and 5 star hotels on MG Road. It is also at the same distance from the railway station plus location is also very clean.
@@ashishsharma4853 good for you. Maybe if I become a millionaire I can afford more luxury accommodation. Until then I'll continue to do the backpacker thing.
@@willieexplore Bro I'm not talking about the luxury hotel. India is already one of the cheapest countries, Indian rupees vs Dollar/Euro. Trains in America are worse. Indian Railways is going massive upgradation and government is handing it over to big private enterprises something which happened in Japan years back. The future of Indian railways will have more Vande Bharat, Tejas, Amrit Bharat, Namo Bharat semi high speed trains and air conditioned local trains ( already in Mumbai). The old yellow coloured rakes are being phased out. Apart from that India has some of the most luxurious world heritage trains: Maharaj Express, Palace on Wheels, Deccan Odyssey, Golden Chariot, Buddha Express, Flying Rani. No country in the world has train as insanely luxury as this. Even second class trains in South India are extremely decent. Whatever overcrowding you see happens in certain North Indian states like Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
You should visit other Indian places instead of this overrated trash cities like Delhi or Agra. Like Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir or North east Indian states.

Foreigners who have low budget they should consider Karol Bagh Hotels rather than Pahar Ganj Hotels. Karol Bagh is less crowded than Pahar Ganj.
