Performing at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on April 16th, 2O12 as part of the South Bank Alchemy Festival. The Mian MIris are led by Mehboob Khan Also onstage: Rajasthani musicians Nathoo Solanki and Kutle Khan along with Aref Durvesh and Sam Mills. It's real bad to criticize someone destructively for their way of doing things. The lady seems to dance in ecstasy because she sings with her heart, her energy even spreads to the qawwals. For people who have not achieved such a state, those who have not experienced such bliss, it might seem like madness. There is another music that flows under whàt you hear, the music of devotion. This is a masterpiece.
Like Nietzsche said, those who were dancing were thought to be insane by the ones who couldn't hear the music.

The problem is that the mix dosent work with her tunes .it just pokes you like a thorn. The fact that she embraces this is even worse as it feels like its raping your consciousness as people who loved the OG version.
Lets consider your point.. But see where this song been sung.. ? Its kind of God's song.. And how freaks are dancing there.. They not aware the song is god's song thats why they are enjoying there.. Music appreciation is a subjective thing. The positive thing from this 2012 video is that the music is crossing boundaries and bringing people together, India and Pakistan , North and South India , East and West. If people dislike that and prefer to keep to an insulated bubble that is their choice, but in reality music, ideas and inspirations travel in time and space and find changing expressions. There is NO disrespect intended here, but it seems a lot of people are getting high on their own fake outrage and negative projections. Nobody is forcing them to watch, or stopping them from making their own offerings. To the 'haters' and trolls i would say you are describing your OWN limitations. You are what you see. All is one.

Its interesting that this clip gets so much attention.. its not recent. This was more than seven years ago! Susheela Raman has completely evolved since then and plays different music.
