Is that why Kush picks a spoon and sticks it back into the food? Hopefully that's the reason. As an executive chef I'm already wincing at the lack of food safety (and sanitation), regardless of it being Taco Bell. Kush is still on camera and should show he's capable of keeping the food safe. In other words he's not settling a good example

@@JS-wc4xs I don't understand why people are so obsessed with food safety in cooking shows. The whole thing is about entertaining others, and the only people eating it know what they're getting into. Like, yeah a chef should know food safety, but maybe it's not that important when he's cooking a taco bell arancini served in a martini glass for views on the internet

Loved this format, so glad we're getting more of it. I really missed Kush as well. He and Jamie work so well together. It's nice that each normal has their own chef now: Jamie and Kush, Mike and James, Barry and Ben.
To be fair, Jamie's funny dad energy pairs well with both James' sassy despair and Kush's let's burn the place down energy. They're always hilarious together :D

Seeing as you began with the lowest form of what can loosely be described as "food" you were done before you began. Kush is a Chef. He works with real food. This is not, by any stretch of the imagination, real food.
Having said that, Kush dissolving into giggles while prepping this *thing* was priceless!

I really like this 'hopeless' approach. Yes, Kush could have added different flavours and made it amazing, but I like that he just kept this as is flavour-wise. It ended with him laughing till he cried and his stomach hurt... couldn't have gone better!

I had soo much fun watching Kush lose it. I was laughing out loud. My husband wanted to know what was soo funny. He doesn't appreciate food shows, but he watched the video ( he really likes Taco Bell - me not so much) He looked at me and I immediately knew he wanted to try it. Ugh thanks Kush.

@@urkryptoknight6793 Ah, that might explain it. There's no way that cost 45 pounds at the store, but with delivery fees..
It still seems high as I thought most delivery apps only add about 10-15% to the price. Oh, but then I remember hearing that some are starting to add extra fees or an automatic tip so maybe that's where the extra costs are coming from.
@@urkryptoknight6793 I will concede to the possibility of a delivery fee being part of it. It still seems disproportionally high though, my hope is there are many beefy 5-layer burritos behind the camera we don't see.😅
I've seen American RUclips channels that have featured Taco Bell and thought that it was so ridiculously cheap that some questionable practices (not paying workers well, poor quality ingredients etc.) must be going on. The UK branch of the business seems to have gone in the opposite direction if that sorry lot cost £45 (even with London prices and delivery charges).

I lived in a small town in George about 20 year ago. The kind of town that rolled up the streets at 8 pm. Taco Bell was the only "Mexican" food in town. I moved there from Texas.

@waywardsisters918 you haven't missed it for certain. I've heard it called Taco Hell. The mystery meat is the best laxative on earth. The "sauce" is pure tomato sauce with Caucasian seasoning (garlic salt, onion salt, and pepper). And the selections are odd.
Just my opinion, not worth the money. But I feel that way about all chain fast food.

@@jadeasha4040 Taco Bell is similar in Australia. Like 2 Taco's is $10, and they're pretty subpar tacos. That's pick up too, so no massive ubereats or whatever surcharge. Seems like it's dirt cheap in the US but when it goes to other countries ends up crazy expensive. 45 pounds is still kind of insane, makes me wonder what the delivery fee was.
Brilliant! 😂 And maybe for a future video set Kush a challenge where all blenders/food processors are BANNED! I love how he can fix any problem by blending it but I'd also love to see how his mind works without that option

Compared to US the fast food prices here are sky rocketing though taco bell has always been comparatively expensive compared to US, KFC is probably our cheapest place and that's only on the offers really
Over here Taco Bell is both bad and overpriced.
I just sat down with the Taco Bell app and put in what I saw in the video. Two crunchy tacos, two bean burritos, and a nachos with cheese. I added a side of jalapeños and a side of seasoned rice to each taco. It's $14.33. At the current conversion rate, that's £11.48. That's a long way from£45.
If I've gotten the menu items wrong, that's on me. But it certainly looks like Jaime nearly quadrupled the price in order to dunk on Taco Bell.

@@denniswhalen2991 to be honest I'm not sure he got the right price there it's about £27 give or take in total what he had, just did the same here on UK app, but then there's no drinks there either which you usually get with a meal, though they wouldn't add to the dish I suppose.

The coincidence that I bought taco bell for lunch 😂 at the exact same moments this video was being posted is something else. Also, I absolutely need a Kush Arancini series now! A series where he spin the wheel and has to make an arancini with flavors from a specific country or region of the world.

I've eaten at Taco Bell once. Was pretty hyped considering how popular it is around the world and all. It probably was the last time. I have no clue how it is so popular because the food is so bad. And I'm not even saying this as a "oh fast food is horrible blah blah" no, I eat fast food quite regularly. It was the worst fast food meal I've ever had. Very expensive as well.
We live on the Texas Mexican border and I really don't know how they even exist here. I'll go to a building that looks like a good breeze will blow it over and eat there any day.

Had Taco Bell once in the USA and let’s just say I didn’t rush to a UK branch when they opened, so Kush has quite the task to improve this!

@@kezmay6679Yeah, I was reeaaaally shocked when Jamie said how much they paid! Taco Bell is fairly good for a fast food "mexican" joint, but it's better for a cheap drunk food run, or honestly, if you're on a budget and want to get a good chunk of fast food for (relatively) cheap.
McDonald's used to be seen as the lower class haven to get a lot of food for cheap, but that went out the window nearly 10+ years ago. Where I live in the north east of USA, Taco Bell is one of the more affordable fast food places.
Yeah it's worse in the UK. In the US that would've been a bit better tasting and a fraction of the price. It's why we're fine that it's not the greatest. You can get a few of the premium items with the drink for $10, or like 20 tacos for less than half the price they paid for that.

@@maromania7 How did that happen? Normally fast food tends to be better in the UK/Europe than it is in the USA. Taco Bell was never known for being high quality food so to think the UK might be even worse.
