Looks great, thanks for sharing Mat!
I've been using effects like this in After Effects to achieve the same effect when I couldn't get some long exposures. CC Force Motion Blur or Pixel Motion blur. Works like a treat a lot of the time.
Dope effect! Thanks for sharing 👏
Love the narrative.
Fantastic!!!
great video
It's the number one reason I switched to davinci a couple of years ago, it also has it's own tab in the colour page along with the noise reduction.
DR Studio here! 👍
Yeap that effects been there for sometime, at least in the color panel as a nodes. its actually sick as it calculates the frames before and after, so the difference between them is calculated to know at what speed the common pixels should be blurred ;)
Great video as always Matt, would love to know the processing times on a 30sec clip for instance. This looks like a Davinci native version of a paid plug-in called ReelSmart Motion Blur, complete with the occasional distortions.
Matt if you have time and opportunity try the Nikon z8 Timelapse features.
I keep meaning to try Davinci Resolve but it means learning a whole new editing software.
It won't take you long. Depending which one you're migrating from. Definitely worth it
Smoke? Or inferno had something similar to this but it was always had a little bit of ghosting to it
Premier, it doesn't have this effect :( but there is an effect called pixel motion blur in after effects which does the same thing. If there is something moving it will add some motion blur.
Anyway great tip, I'd like to start with davinci
I tried some prg`s but found davinci. And now not using anything els. Am a amateur.....
Which battery and dummy battery are you using on your S52X? I saw you mention it in you other video and looking to get one
I forget which brand it is but I have a USB C powered dummy battery that I have in my gh6 that would work with the S5 series cameras as well. I got it on amazon
I bought DR studio by watching your video😊
I’m also using AE. Flicker free and De:flicker which one is recommended?
@@yu5561 Flicker Free is a really great plugin. However it requires quite a powerful videocard (GPU) if you are working on 4K footage or larger. My RTX A3000 6GB gets maxed out when working in 4K. 5K and above is impossible and the plugin simply requests more VRAM.
@@JonasHholtHello! Thank you for your kind reply. It’s super helpful information for me😊
Revision:real smart motion blur plugin works much better
I finally unsubscribed from adobe.. so.. I will give it a try definetely.
I can't Fathom WHY anyone would want to Purposely F-up a perfectly great shot with BLURRING. I video 99% TOY Radio Controlled Model airplanes and never ever want anything OUT Of Focus or Blurry. Even worse is an out of FOCUS background (Depth of Field). Maybe it's just me but I hate anything OUT of focus in any of my videos. That's why I shoot with a REAL Video Camera not a Still camera than can record Video. It's really Not the Camera it's the LENS not being PARFOCAL. I can go full zoom focus at infinity set it to manual and everything past 15' @ full Zoom will be in focus with every detail sharp and clear as a bell. I want to be able to see every part of the plan when some guy makes a Smok'n Hole with his $20K Jet plane and parts are flying all over the runway. Just my Humble Opinion But then I'm not making the next great Epic of Moses Parting the Waters either.
people like motion blur because its closer to what the human eye sees and it all depends on the material. you filming with heavy motion blur for your RC jets is as silly as someone shooting a film with fast shutter speeds and no depth of field for a short cinematic film.
