Cops took 3 to hospital with stab wpunds and the hors guy who got trample after they all left i went and retreived a rudely made nullanulla.. A local type of club and a dexter russell butchers knife from the sand.. Washed em up and kep them. . Was tge 1st week i was in darwin.

Longer sentences incurred parole. Not so using the elder system, remission and parole was not available. A feature of elder Justice includes that each decision made that led to the offence was also considered. In the case of the petrol sniffer his sentence went as follows. 2 months in prison for removing the petrol cap. 3 months for syphoning the fuel and 3 months imprisonment for sniffing it, no parole no remission. It didn't just send shock waves through the rank and file of the social justice warriors, it sent panick to all who claimed themselves Aboriginal. I asked one of these elders why they were imposing such harsh penalties, his reply, "They shame our people". That says it all.
