When I saw that perfectly intact vintage carded Boushh Leia, my jaw dropped! And there is a huge market for all those G.I Joe parts, even figures that have come apart.
I loved the LOL moment when you had the action figures talking to each other! Please don't grow up and lose your sense of pure joy and fun. ROFLOL 😂🤣😂❤🖤💚
I love when you make a good profit on your finds. It's like watching you treasure hunt. Knowing what you have and what they are worth is key. Good job!
Great score!! I got lucky on my last storage unit and found some 60’s Barbies and GI Joes (12”).. plus a zip lock bag of accessories. I can’t make up my mind if I want to put them on eBay, marketplace or just hold them for now. And you’re 100% correct on the “accessories” bringing more than the figures in some cases. After I started looking up what I had, I was blown away at the prices they were bringing. Goodness gracious!! Stay blessed!!
Not gonna lie Alex, after you had opened those boxes, all I saw was a box of broken little plastic pieces, and large toys with lots missing. And a few plastic cars. My first thought were “what a waste of 300 bucks” but…… As usual, you proved me wrong lol. It’s a good job you love playing with and fixing toys 😁
Hi Alex, I just wanted to mention that the white canoe that you have at the end of the video separated over with the Star Wars stuff is actually a canoe for a G.I. Joe figure. It’s the Arctic stalker figure he came with a canoe. Just heads up love your videos
My sons are about your age, and GI Joe stuff was great! They turned my grape ivy into a jungle and, a couple of years later, blew them up with fire crackers! I kept finding little bits of plastic body parts whenever I mowed the lawn! Fun times!
Don't forget, most of the vehicles came with figures as well. like the one you're holding at 14:38 goes with the vehicle you pick up at 11:58/11:59, And the Figure at 16:28 wearing the orange life vest goes with the Hovercraft.
We found a huge box full of original 90s polly pockets at a garage sale about 3 years ago and bought for nz $20 and just got around to selling the sets this year...$800 profit which has helped pay for my kids xmas presents this year. Not sure we will find a bargain like that again
Just goes to show how valuable knowledge is when it comes to collectables, I know a little bit about a lot of things and up until 20 minutes ago I knew absolutely nothing about these types of toys, let alone having the courage to perhaps purchase 80's toys and resell them, thanks again Alexander.
“But somehow I still attracted a female.”🤣 Not gonna lie, my little 80s heart was beating pretty wildly when he opened those boxes, and I never even played with GI Joe. Now if it had been a My Little Pony haul…🤔
When I hear GI Joe I think of the 70's large articulated action figures that I had with the crewcut fuzzy hair and beards and the pull string voice recorded messages. Now those were GI Joes. ;-)
Mine didn’t have the fuzzy hair, just molded plastic but yeah when he said old GI Joes I immediately thought of the larger ones. The go to accessory was the Navy deep diver setup. I still have some somewhere in the footlocker but all well played with and disorganized and many pieces missing through the years.
I've really enjoyed coming back to the channel after not getting the updates for so long ..... But this video is the best ever ...... it's a cool mix of mine and my brothers toy box.... those Star Wars figures on cards are truly the star find for me.
I LOVED that G.IJoe dude with the bright green gear and blond hair. (at 7:00) His code name was Psyche-Out and he was Deceptive Warfare guy, meaning that he did the scouting. Now I have an awful urge to find one for myself as a Christmas present!
Last summer i bought a huge 5ft box of 80s-90s toys for $50. Took me a couple days to organize them all into groups. And sold for over $1000. I regret not recording the process.
I had army men and tonka trucks as a girl. Lol. My best friend was a boy and we dig tunnels, caves, roads in the dirt, hill sides and tree roots. So fun
Back in the early 2000s, we had a garage sale. My son wanted to sell his Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He had everything from the beginning until he felt he was too old. Like the year before. He priced everything for pennies on dollar. They were his to sell, and a neighborhood person who regularly had garage sales said he was making a mistake by selling everything so cheap. She bought everything and I'm sure made a huge profit the next time she had a sale. The thing was, my son was happy and wasn't in it to maximize profits. He just wanted more room. He'd actually planned to donate to the VA before we had the garage sale.
This was a really fun video, Alex and it was great to hear the monetary results in the same video after watching you sort, thank you! You have inspired me to bite the bullet and sort through our 2 crates of Lego for which I carefully saved the instructions to go with most of the sets!😃
I raised 5 boys and have a storage unit with all their toys from the 80’s to 90’s. Two huge bins of legos and expensive war board games. Imaginex castles and pirate ship sets. I need to go through them…every year I tell them to come get them…oh what to do!
Totally awesomeness Brother Alexander! I enjoyed the video. Thanks always for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😎👍♥️♥️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️💯
The part where you said Melissa says how was your day at work and you said it was a tough day at the office pew pew pew I spat my coffee out laughing so much
Alexander, I hope you enjoyed sorting and fixing those gems. About how long do you figure it took, yes, it's a labor of love, but time is $$$, so to speak. Cheers, Rik Spector
This is making me nostalgic for my Robotech toys. I sold them via my sister's eBay "with battle damage" and I still miss them. But I was broke and in a bad situation, had to do it. Also the fine line between dolls and action figures made me laugh. I've been having that argument for years... it really is just a marketing tool. My default is "little plastic people".
The difference between a doll and an action figure; A doll is a figure in human form designed to entertain children. An action figure is a doll its manufacturer hopes to sell to boys.
I'm 54 and still have my fisher price parachute like the one you found in the first box. My guy probably had 1,000's of successful parachute jumps from the late 70's-80's.
I had a USS flag! I shared it with my brother and we kept it on top of a low book shelf behind our bunk bed. Eventually it broke ( we were quite rough with our toys) and our dad put the remaining pieces together and attached them to the shelf so the shelf made the flight deck with the conning tower, bow, and gun turrets attached to the book shelf so we got a few years more out of it. But we grew out of it and gave all our GI Joe's to my best friend's little brother. Really wish I had those back, though our toys were really rough when we were through with them.
I love to find lots like this. But recently everything local has been cherry-picked or incredibly overpriced to turn over. Can't really blame people and glad I squirreled away some stuff.
my GI joe was one of the originals from the 1960's, but he did not survive, as he was played with hard and war is Hell, m80 and Cherry bomy took there toll on him, as well as the napalm. I got my GI Joe Christmas 1964, I was 1 year old, and he was one of my toy's for years and I got older, the play got harder and more violent especially with the fireworks. The Steno we called Napalm.
Im one of those parents who bought the extremely large aircraft carrier ship for our 8 yr old. Luckily his bdrm was large. We have a xmas photo of him standing next to wrapped gift which was larger than him. The $$$ spent on GI Joe vehicles/figures, He-man, Star Wars, baseball cards, etc. during his youth. 🤦🏻♀️ And sadly we don’t have any of it today.
THAT BIG WEIRD SPACESHIP BLUEISH GREY ROBOT IS "ORGUSS" A JAPANESE SERIES. THAT TOY ALONE MIGHT BE WORTH 200$ TO 300$ ! THE TRANSFORMERS ARE ALL G1 IN THE BIN, WORTH EASILY A FEW HUNDREDS DOLLARS !

Love that these things find their way to Alex and go forward to be appreciated again.

Even if you'd lost on this deal, I bet you'd still have got great pleasure just from sorting through it all! We certainly enjoyed watching! ❤ XXX
It’s so much fun to see the young Alex coming out when it’s boy toys. Great find again.
You have the greatest of jobs! Some days it’s toys and other days antiques or nifty cars!❤️🇨🇦
I love when you make a good profit on your finds. It's like watching you treasure hunt. Knowing what you have and what they are worth is key. Good job!
You are having so much fun! Love it.
Star Wars stuff reminded me of my son’s childhood. If only we had saved that stuff, of course we didn’t. Glad you had a good haul.❤
Thank you for this wonderful trip down memory lane. I remember the GI Joe figures and the Transformers.

What a ton of fun for $300! Great score! Any day I find a Gremlin is a good day!
Wowza! Super fun lot and well worth the gamble!
Pretty cool that you watch curiosity too Froggie! I'm here right after watching your latest video!
Not really I wouldn't pay 300 without looking as he said looks all rubbish
Looks like a fun day with toys and memories!!
Love the 'what are you wearing' commentary LOL

GIJoe were called Action Force in the UK, my son had some. One spent Christmas as a sniper in the Christmas tree!

Plumber's o-ring is what you need to use to make it look original - number 8/9.
. always fun , great job sorting ❤

Wow your garage is awesome and so clean😮!!!😊
“But somehow I still attracted a female.”🤣
Not gonna lie, my little 80s heart was beating pretty wildly when he opened those boxes, and I never even played with GI Joe. Now if it had been a My Little Pony haul…🤔
I laughed out loud when Alex said that. What a hoot.

Tell me you gave some of them a scar on their cheek, or am I the only one ? lol

Good morning Alex! Hugs!😊
Love your shirt!
Really fun. I wish I had my toys .
Fun going through old toys.
😮I remember Consumers Distributing. You had to go up to the counter and order what you wanted, then they would go get it.

I love when you get the little action figures talking to each other ... it's hysterical. Is that a bird on your head, lol.
Jackpot. You got a heck of a deal in $300 for all of this.
Great fun, thanks for sharing!
Enjoyed it 😊
You made your money on the two Jedi figures. They’ve both recently sold for $145 each
I really love your office Alex :), way to go!
That was fun! Thanks, Alex!
Now you need to "transform" all of this into good "figures" 😅

The red Morgan is a Majorette not Matchbox, Matchbox released their first Morgan roadster this year.
When you say GIJoe I think of Action Man the English version from the 60s 70s I wish I still had mine they would have been worth a bob or two
Thanks for the video 🙏
That blue tent! 😍 Still have that same one in a box back home.
Cool stuff 😎

Alex, I am glad to hear that you did well, financially, with this purchase. I also think that you got $300 worth of fun playing with the toys! 😅

All the cool stuff!! LOL

Great stuff. I'm a GI Joe collector my self Ur right they have gone way up

Sargent Slaughter was my son's favorite. I could not find it anywhere. I ended up ordering it. This was in the 80's.
sorting the GI Joe guys ..... 😆🤣😆🤣 ... good fun! mahalo😆🤣😆🤣
I actually still have the that little cassette transformer. I also used to have a ton of GoBots as a kid. That was a fun trip down memory lane.
Awesome.
Thanks! I had a good time finding these!
Plus, of course...the content for the channel itself!
,,,,and you still managed to attract a female! Great line Alex!
Forced to play umm, assemble toys for a few days. Tough job….
It is a tough job, but someone has to do it! 😆.
