Artist Talk Antony Gormley | Mothers Pride V

In de zomer van 2022 neemt de wereldberoemde Britse kunstenaar Antony Gormley (1950) het museum en landgoed van Voorlinden over. Met zijn sculpturen, installaties en kunst in de openbare ruimte onderzoekt Gormley de relatie tussen het menselijk lichaam en de ruimte om ons heen. De overzichtstentoonstelling GROUND overloopt zijn omvangrijke oeuvre, van zijn loden sculpturen uit de jaren ’80 tot zijn meest recente installaties. In the summer of 2022, Antony Gormley (1950) will take over the museum and estate of Voorlinden. The British artist is renowned worldwide for his sculptures, installations and public works that explore the relationship between the human body and the space around us. The major retrospective exhibition GROUND brings together work spanning Gormley’s career, from his early lead sculptures from the 1980s to recent large-scale installations, and can be seen from 26 May to 25 September 2022.
