Poch was very enthusiastic about using Nkunku as the main focal point of the attack.
And i think he's our most clinical attacker..even more than Palmer (who by his own right is having a stellar debut season)
I get the injuries playing a part but persisting with Colwil at LB when Maatsen is there was crazy. Chillwel as a LW was crazy. We also saw in the last game how Good Nkunkun was cutting in from the left. And also playing enzo so far away from Caicedo also made isolated Caicedo. Injuries was a problem but he had solutions but didnt back them. But props for what he has done lately

But maybe he saw that other players i.e Mudryk and Cucurella wasn't ready.
At the end of the day..the manager works with his players on a day to day basis.
So they know more than us.
Therefore, given that it was his first 6 months trying to work out what's best...it's understandable why results were up/down.
I think, now that the manager has worked with them for a year and the players also have a year under their belts..
It won't suprise me if we jump to a higher level..i.e. top 4 and winning a trophy next season..provided most of the important players stay injury free for the most part
