I actually say it is very useful especially at wave 10 for bosses, you spend $1080 for a lv1 militant and it handles waves 10-15 for you. In terms of cost efficient, the militant would be the best option as it gets the job done, you can swap on to other towers later. (I might make some changes in the future) Thx for stopping by propellars, I'm actually a fan of yours.

i think i would switch out gladiator for warden in fallen because the warden stuns andcan not get stunned at max lvl
It is a good option however the warden's stun resistance is a little different from the gladiator as it uses a shield and the gladiator recovers faster. Thus the warden costs almost two times more than it takes to max the gladiator. I would say max the gladiators and focus on main DPS towers like the accelerator and engineer. 😄
@@Kevianl i understand your point too for keeping gladiator for dps but just think would warden be good for fallen or would you choose gladiator because accel is the main dps and warden is just to stun but at max warden does high dps but its price is unfortunate
@@Kevianl Warden can also make an area attack like a gladiator (you can put four Wardens and then change the target to first, strongest, last, weakest, respectively).

Top 5 my opinion: golden cowboy, accelerator, engineer, commander and ranger, bc with those towers solo hc was possible to beat, fallen, molten, normal too, with p2 who got DJ and withnout rangers duo badlands possible, with towers like this duo p2 was possible, idk but maybe with those towers solo Pizza was possible.

Engi has like double the dps of acceptance at max with all sentries down so 1 and 2 should be swapped
just to say this; accel doesnt have the most dps in the game its engineer with around 400+ dps

Oh, looks like i forgot to mention that you can beat hardcore with ranger and ace pilot spam, since Fungi Frenzy strat exist
TBH I think that engineer is better after countless days of defending accel I couldn't do it any longer after rebalance a massive ( -130 dps min / -80 dps max ) was deducted to its overall dps making it abt ( 173 dps min / 240 dps max ) instead of its ( 300 dps min - 320 dps max ) that it used to have it was absolute monster until its " rebalance " that's just a nerf and also engi being buffed early game accel is in no way 1# in forms of dps as the engi has 397 dps per UNIT thats a staggering 2400 dps instead of (1700 dps min /1900 max ) that accel offers ( this is based on placement cap ) also some may say " but what abt commander " and yes it does bring it up to about the same to engi but it cost WAY more money and for still less also engi preforms way better without supports making it way more versatile than any other tower except maybe glad ( maybe g cowboy too ) also no start-up except its sentries and just overall a better tower now also hidden detection is brought up but engi still does reasonable dps to hiddens so yeah thats my take of engi and accel being replace-able for things like ranger now

Engineer is a really good tower you are correct with no charge up time, flight detection and hidden detection. But I prefer accelerator still for team play, since the engineer requires time to build its turrets, it not performing well against bosses in early levels and its turrets not being buffed by the commander, meaning the turrets would lose the cta 55% buff ability and we all know we can chain cta, so if you calculate the accelerator after being chained it does actually more dps. Very well detailed explanation. I like your essay!

The top 6 in my opinion (yes 6): 6 - minigunner it’s used most of the time and has pretty good dps although it’s a little costly. 5 - cowboy it’s good for early and can be useful for events and rly helps out in the newest Christmas event cuz of the hardcore giving cash as it can give cash from shooting. 4 - ranger it deals the most damage per hit and also has very high range but the downside is no hd. 3 - warden it can stun enemies AND block stuns making it almost like sledger and glad combined and it does more dmg at max then gladiator. 2 - accel (you’ll see why) it has the most dps and even after the nerf it’s still rly good although the targeting isn’t the best the dps can make up for it. 1 - farm it’s rly hard to get a lot of cash whitout farm making this tower very good and if u max all 8 u can get around 12k per wave but always remember to sell farms at max

minigunner and ranger: are we a joke to you?
The normal minigunner costs 2000 to place down making it very hard to save up to on wave 10 for the abnormal boss if you are doing fallen and so is ranger. The militant costs $13550 to max while the minigunner costs $17650 with the difference of 24dps. The militant does not have charge up time and they have the same range. It is only useful in late game while militant can be used from early to mid-game and late game.

Yes I was thinking about the ranger as it is a very good tower as well, but the thing is it is only good for mid to late game and doesn't have hidden detection. Sadly it's not on the list.

problems, 1. militant is trash 2. freezer is trash 3. paintballer is trash.
militant is still useful for fallen speedrun or molten coingrind. But yes freezer is garbage and paintballer is garbage.

I feel like people don’t realize how good engi is, while it’s not as good as accel, I could actually do molten faster with engi than accel, so I think people should give engi a little more respect, and it also has sentries who block stuns, so it would be nice if engi got more respect instead of being called a “sub dps towers”

I think the accelerator got more of a rebalance than a nerf? Engineer takes time to build the sentries and the sentries can't be buffed by commanders. But I'll look into it.

Imma make a small golden perk tier list cuz yes.
1:golden mini ( great dps and has no limit means you can get up to 4K dps even more with commander
2:golden cowboy( same great dps if spammed , best at soloing some of the hardest modes and is fun for solo fallen also ( DAMAGE FARM)
3:GOLDEN SCOUT (cheap for it’s dps very good at speedrunning not as good as gladiator but is op
4:crook boss ( spawns guards great damage other than 4 placement limit this is good and fun to use)
5:pyro is good great early and mid game but toward fast and strong enemy’s it’s weak
6: (also last place) soldier is expensive for its dps and scout is Cheaper and better it’s decent tho

But we can't look at stuff just at the raw stats right? For example in polluted wastelands you need the maxed accelerator for the amalgamation, 6 lv3 engineers is not enough and you wouldn't have enough money for a maxed engineer because of its high cost. It will also waste a lot of time for the engineer to build turrets. I am ranking the towers by usefulness instead of raw stats.

One downside about the warden is warden only hits one target at a time while the gladiator can hit call enemies in range. 👍
