If Valve worked like a normal company they'd release something right after the major. Using the major itself to announce something big but that's not how Valve works so we'll get some balancing changes and maybe a map pool change
Everything about CS irritates me right now. Haven't played since February and I don't miss it, but I do hope that it gets better, just so the new generation of players get to experience the excitement we experienced during the heydays of csgo. Even with the gambling scandals and all that, it was a great time for the cs community!
@@kjowl I doubt it. The Steam devs on the Counter-strike team have been incredibly bored with CS for some time now it although I feel like they’re actively killing our beloved game now. I remember back in 1.6 I had more fun playing super creative community server ideas than actually playing the game how it was supposed to be. CSGO made competitive mode be the main focus but at least they kept community servers open. Removing them was shocking to me. Why would you do that?
Counter Strike is the closest a game can get to being a money printer. The game gets LITERALLY zero updates, has bad anticheat, runs on the same mechanics from 25 years ago, all while making shy of half a billion dollars per year. It's baffling how little effort gets put into it

I simply refuse to believe, despite all evidence being against me, that Valve will let CS go the way of TF2. It prints them so much money they simply cannot ignore all the issues or only have a skeleton crew work on it. Its been over a year now and the game is not where it should be, I am disappointed but also still hopeful.
Yes same doomers are just crying babies, Valve only decides what is best for their customers, they are not a gaming company but to think that they would completely drop cs is just BS. I prefer when things are made with care and consideration than rushing to catch some happiness.
