Fine stuff. I have a PlutoSDR, Raspberry Pi 4 that I have trying to get to work together for quite awhile. With both Raspian and Ubuntu builds. Installed libiio, Soapy, other tools but no workie. RTL dongles work fine. No troubles with Windows 11, bit of a hassle with Ubuntu though. Could you sometime do an episode specifically using an PlutoSDR, Raspberry Pi 4 using Raspian or Ubuntu or an alternative OS? Been a patron for over a year now, N5NWI, Barry Chalcroft. Glad to see you are doing well kid!!!
Hi Barry, thanks for all of your support. I recognized your name as soon as I saw the comment popped up 😃 I have quite a few different videos in the pipeline but definitely planning to do more with the raspberry pi and can definitely focus more on the Pluto as well. I have some windows stuff that I'm going to be setting up for the Pluto and there are ways to do it under wine on the raspberry pi as well that I would like to look at. Just recently got a dedicated raspberry pi setup for doing videos with, sure to see more of it.
@@SignalsEverywhere I'd love to set mine up to do SSB on the VHF+ bands. 10, 6, 2 m, 440 mhz+. Can't afford the expensive rigs, sold my older multimode capable ones, only work a bit of 10 meters on mobile rig. Not much of a HF fan (except for SWL stuff), satellites and the higher freqs, were / are my thing. Antennas are cheaper and smaller...
Definitely something that can be done but also requires filtering and amplifiers to do anything useful with it. Side band on VHF in general sounds really fun to me though
hi. thank you for all the interesting videos you made. i am looking for a tool for the PlutoSDR that sweeps over the entire frequency range from the lower end to the upper end and create a heatmap of which frequencies are used. there is a tool available for the RTL sdr with name "rtl_power". is there something similar existing for the PlutoSDR as well?

Do you have any use for a CLI FFT?
Well done Sarah, it's an interesting application that is also avaliable for the rtl-sdr... I might try to install it on my Pi later.
Thanks, I have some better specan software to demo later on this month :)
Thanks, I was going to ask Sarah if was available for the rtl-sdr!
I guess I have more software to cover!
hello good video. In Pluto + two receivers How can Pluto + use two receivers on the lan simultaneously?
I have a pluto sdr, but I update my pc to windows 11 so my pluto connection through libiio doesn't work. Any solution?
Fine stuff.

I'm working on a video now that will essentially turn it into a proper spectrum analyzer and will let you do sweeps like this and visualize them
