I loved selling Tampa. I thought it was a good show. But I didn’t expect to see them selling a ton of houses because they are more like a start up, versus the other company being in business for centuries.

Allure is an up and coming agency that is working to get into luxury real estate. So we can't expect them to be selling the amount or level or homes we see on Sunset. Also, Rena closed on a million dollar home on episode one. Both shows have their fair share of drama. Tampa's is more on the business side whereas Sunset is on high school "she's friends with so and so" which is SUPER draining...
SS was more balanced between personal life drama and real estate business. ST was a little forced and reminded me of Real housewives and it was just overall a little more cheesy in my opinion. To be fair it was a new and still developing company so they didn’t have as much to show more than likely so I guess that’s the disconnect. Hopefully it gets better I’ll still watch because I love shows like that anyway
I wish that Selling Tampa had more selling of Real Estate in it compared to just usual drama you would find on Real Housewives of Atlanta. I was so happy to see an all black cast on Tampa but disappointed when comparing them to Selling Sunset. I think I’m still more of a fan of Selling Sunset unfortunately 🙁.

Been a fan of Selling Sunset since the beginning. I was so excited to see Selling Tampa. I WANTED to love it, but… Unfortunately, Selling Tampa was a miss for me. Felt like a Real Housewives franchise. SS has such great balance (yin and Yang) with the stoic natures of Jason/Brett and the sales and drama with the ladies. ST is all one note. Honestly, I was bored. I hope Selling Tampa comes back with another season closing more deals and introducing some masculine energy to balance things out :)
Love both shows. First one I watched was Tampa, thr black women caught my attention. After I decided to watch sunset. Could not relate to them at first but tampa made me interested in real estate stories.
Personally, I got bored with Selling Sunset, it was not the case with Selling Tampa, the rivalries are brought to light, the opportunities are numerous, the funniest thing is to see that it is difficult to manage an agency, that you don't know how to do it, when you openly promote cronyism. I like this unpredictability of these women mixed with tactics. I can not wait to know the rest, whatever it is and that is the spice of this series
just because its an all black women cast doesn't make it better I'm sorry, Tampa was full of petty relationship drama and no real estate talk or closing deals the girls didn't even bother putting in effort while selling except colony and anne sophie and maybe its just me but they were alll unprofessional and flirty, while sunset had some gorgeous luxurious houses that the girls actually worked hard to sell
Just finished selling Tampa and literally flew threw it. I’m now I’m starting selling sunset (again) and I’m still slightly struggling to get into it. I do prefer the dramatics with selling Tampa, but it wouldn’t hurt to see them close on a house. 😭 definitely more satisfying. And knowing that Allure Reality just started up in 2019 makes me look at the Rena situation differently now. But over all most definitely prefer selling Tampa
maybe its harder for them to close houses because they are black. they should do the show in atlanta or georgia ..where there are alot of highly successful rich black women

Think people are not seeing that allure is not as est. As sunset agencies so they don't have those clients like the O group. If anything the show is giving them exposure and helping them get more business. So you can see more selling of the houses. I like tampa because of the maturity from most of the women and how they very rarely start drama when they are all together.

i love both Selling Sunset and Selling Tampa. actually i watch Selling Tampa first, then the 4th season of Selling Sunset. Haven't watch Selling Sunset season 1 - 3 just yet, but Cant wait for the new show Selling The OC 🙌🏻❤️
I watched and finished Selling Tampa in one night. It was that good. Then I tried watching Selling Sunset, and I had a hard time focusing and honestly just kept fast forwarding. Some of the drama was so clearly manufactured it wasn’t entertaining to watch

Selling Tampa was more fun loving and shady vs Selling Sunset had toxic people and toxic moments. I love them both, but some scenes on SS was hard to watch.
I’ve gotten that feeling a little bit after watching the first two episodes. My teen never saw selling sunset but was so intrigued by the previews of Selling Tampa that she wanted to watch it. I explained to her what selling sunset was all about and now Tampa is similar but lead by women that look like us. Again, she was intrigued. she had many questions in between, but one that came up at least twice was “How come it seems like they’re trying so hard to have drama?” This came from a teen that didn’t watch selling sunset before but knows about all RHOA and bball wives. She felt the drama was extra and seemed out of place at times and forced. We all know drama sells but I felt some issues were forced. The producers probably pushed more on issues they arose. I do agree that they could have shown more real estate but the show is good. Azure brokerage isn’t anywhere near as successful as Oppenheim but I think that’s the most intriguing part for me. Just watching this black-owned and women-led brokerage that’s new and doesn’t have rich family history attached, is worth watching. I’m very intrigued by some of these women being after you juggle children and career. I wish them all so much success. Colony aka Tony Childs and the neighbor (I forgot her name), are my faves. Tampa is no sunset but they both have drama and sell homes just in different ways. I definitely like selling sunset much better but like Selling Tampa and I can’t wait to see season 2. They’re intriguing and I love seeing women that look like me be bosses! 👏🏽👏🏽

I love selling sunset but I feel with selling sunset with out the devil Christine the show would have no drama and it would be nice to see them close on not so much million dollar listings all the time, if it could be a show that all realtors can relate to would be so much better but it focuses to much on million dollar listings as if they only will sale that and not anything under it, while selling Tampa I feel it’s drama coming from all realtors not just one and it’s more realistic I do love the fact that it is a minority group of woman maybe selling sunset should bring in more minorities and not just white woman!!!!!!
Selling Tampa was a disappointment😩 I wanted to see homes and was expecting them to sell. I don’t think the brokerage needed a show honestly. The best agent in there (Rena) was ostracized and left out!! Selling Sunset/Million Dollar Listing are better shows by far.

This video makes me cringe, when you say that Selling Tampa is ‘diverse’, but only has black women in lol. The skin colour of the women doesn’t matter, it’s their determination, skills and professionalism that matter and they have it to get where they are now. I highly doubt Netflix picked them because of their merit, but instead picking black people, as that’s what comes across as diverse. Diversity is when there’s actually a mix of ideas and people, not just all the same skin colour.
I thought Tampa was balanced really really well. If they made each episode longer then featuring more real estate would be fine but I wanna know how the pregnancy goes, if the 2IC learns it's how she goes about doing things that's the problem, seeing more of the lives of each agent, seeing more fun and humour, and of course seeing the outcome of the proposed brokerage!! Most of all: more pleaaaaase
Both of these shows are like watching Victoria secret models act as realtor … if you expect anything close to Million Dollar Listing then you’ll be disappointed… these both shows are just chicks chit chatting at coffee houses and getting all brushed up in bikinis only … super cheesy.
Although I prefer selling sunset, I liked selling tampa as I’ve learnt more about commisions and the performance of each agent which was interesting. The drama came more from work, not personal issues, which was also good
I have to add, selling Tampa isn't actually diverse. So happy to see these black women thriving (!!!), but labelling it diverse isn't accurate, every member of the team fits one demographic? Maybe minority would have been a better description.
Look at their last names they're not all black It's still diverse you could be from the Caribbean islands or Cuba or Puerto rico And still look black that's still diverse
I started watching Selling Tampa and I was bored and soon gave up. The dress code for the photo was a bit much- a professional woman would know what is right to wear for a promo photo!

i LOVE selling sunset. i keep on rewatching the series all the time. what i love about the series is the relationship between the brothers and the girls there. it feels like they are a family, whereas with selling tampa feels like a teacher and her students. selling sunset of course had drama which i love (who doesn't) but i also love the fact that they actually SELL every house whereas selling tampa to me seems like all about the talk. all they talk about is divorces, baby daddies and irrelevant things that seemed like the main focus of this show. before anyone comes at me saying that its because all the women at selling tampa are of colour well its obviously not true. i really dont care that they are, i just found the series boring and not interesting in the slightest. to me it felt like watching real houswives or some reality drama rather than a real estate show like its supposed to be..
@Nicole Bilder the baby daddies part was a stretch girl relax, but the rest I agree with you on. Being a black woman myself I thought it was going to be like Selling Sunset or any other show about Real Estate but seemed more about talk and ego. I personally enjoyed the representation for my people but felt they missed the point and the show might as well have been another Housewives franchise. I did enjoy it but I personally think that Selling Sunset understands the assignment better and delivers as they always have. Maybe if there is a Season 2 of Tampa they will see some of this feedback and get with production at Netflix to take a different approach for filming.

Los Angeles real estate is mods expensive than Tampa because of celebrities. Los Angeles has more -- in the mix. I do love the Tampa show more.
I thought Tampa was balanced really really well. If they made each episode longer then featuring more real estate would be fine but I wanna know how the pregnancy goes, if the 2IC learns it's how she goes about doing things that's the problem, seeing more of the lives of each agent, seeing more fun and humour, and of course seeing the outcome of the proposed brokerage!! Most of all: more pleaaaaase

Both of these shows are like watching Victoria secret models act as realtor … if you expect anything close to Million Dollar Listing then you’ll be disappointed… these both shows are just chicks chit chatting at coffee houses and getting all brushed up in bikinis only … super cheesy.

Although I prefer selling sunset, I liked selling tampa as I’ve learnt more about commisions and the performance of each agent which was interesting. The drama came more from work, not personal issues, which was also good

I have to add, selling Tampa isn't actually diverse. So happy to see these black women thriving (!!!), but labelling it diverse isn't accurate, every member of the team fits one demographic? Maybe minority would have been a better description.
Look at their last names they're not all black It's still diverse you could be from the Caribbean islands or Cuba or Puerto rico And still look black that's still diverse

I started watching Selling Tampa and I was bored and soon gave up. The dress code for the photo was a bit much- a professional woman would know what is right to wear for a promo photo!

Veeery disappointed 😞 to see the arrogance, hate and nasty unreal competition between each other.... 🤮 In the all season no one shows professional manners on the realty business and "NO ONE" sealed a sale for a freaking house. Definitely, that Selling Tampa was like Real Housewives bad prank chapter 😂🤣😅😆😁 "What a waste of my time".

i LOVE selling sunset. i keep on rewatching the series all the time.
what i love about the series is the relationship between the brothers and the girls there. it feels like they are a family, whereas with selling tampa feels like a teacher and her students. selling sunset of course had drama which i love (who doesn't) but i also love the fact that they actually SELL every house whereas selling tampa to me seems like all about the talk. all they talk about is divorces, baby daddies and irrelevant things that seemed like the main focus of this show.
before anyone comes at me saying that its because all the women at selling tampa are of colour well its obviously not true. i really dont care that they are, i just found the series boring and not interesting in the slightest. to me it felt like watching real houswives or some reality drama rather than a real estate show like its supposed to be..

@Nicole Bilder the baby daddies part was a stretch girl relax, but the rest I agree with you on. Being a black woman myself I thought it was going to be like Selling Sunset or any other show about Real Estate but seemed more about talk and ego. I personally enjoyed the representation for my people but felt they missed the point and the show might as well have been another Housewives franchise. I did enjoy it but I personally think that Selling Sunset understands the assignment better and delivers as they always have. Maybe if there is a Season 2 of Tampa they will see some of this feedback and get with production at Netflix to take a different approach for filming.
