Wow it was like magic watching you work with these! Like you said it would take forever to do something like this with pencils! Beautiful start Jamie and thanks for sharing these with us! ☺️💜

i don't know if you ever tried mixing your gelatos with soft pastels and some matte medium, it creates the most beautiful blends!!! i really enjoyed watching you test your supplies and hearing the enjoyment in your voice!😍

I’m so glad I found your channel!
I’m new to coloring and I been looking for alternatives for backgrounds and found this gel crayons, I’d need to buy the kit and the water brush, which would be the most beginner friendly water pens?

wow such a convient video for me right now haha! i was JUST debating last night if i should order some gelatos to try out but in Canada they are for whatever reason pretty hard to find and when you do, they are pretty expensive! Then i came across kingart on amazon, cheaper and easily available! This was a great comparison thank you! im wondering if you have tried using them dry and then instead of blending out with your finger, blend out with a sort of stiff blending brush to get a faded look. Planning on using them for backgrounds and have seen a few people use what they are calling, short haired stencil brushes (i believe) and it creates a soft faded out effect!

I think a short haired stiff brush would work great with the kingarts!!!

Please finish this with detail of color pencil!! I have the king art 72 which has metallics as well but im dying to see pencil over these??? I just can’t imagine that working?? I also don’t understand how you can color over it without it smearing, but man your work is beautiful ❤
