I never hated Maria from the beginning....I just want to slap Rosa super hard and stabbed her in the gut while telling her, "You are just like your terrible family, you f*cking monster, see you in Hell!" And well, for the Social Service in the Anime, Rosa kicked her out
Me! Because Rosa always slapped Maria in a cheek and i stopped Rosa to slap her. Even though that i don't hate Maria because she's a nice person and she loves Sakutaro.
When I saw Maria in first arc, she was too annoying. When I saw Rosa in first arc, she was too emotional. Now I cant hate neither Maria, nor Rosa. It always sad to see these scenes no matter the character.
And the welfare police lady just stood there watching all that? WTF?! I feel really bad for hating Maria in previous episodes. That poor kid...I need to go cry now. :(
That was never an option for Rosa. The one thing she fears more than anything else is being exposed as a failure. To hire a babysitter would be to admit that she could not live up to her responsibilities as a mother, and not just because she couldn't be bothered to come home, feed her daughter dinner, and tuck her into bed, like any normal human being would. Even in the best-case scenario, a babysitter would be one more stranger who knows just how much of an embarrassing freak Maria is, and consequently how terrible of a mother Rosa must be. But the really unbearable thought for Rosa would be if, one day, Maria tells the babysitter that sometimes her mother turns into a bad witch who says mean things and hurts her. Like all child abusers, Rosa knows that a single word from her victim to the wrong person could destroy her, which is why she goes to such extreme lengths to isolate Maria. Not getting a babysitter isn't an oversight on Rosa's part; it's a natural consequence of the fear and shame that rule her life.
Can we read the Maria-scene at the end as a reference to Beatos feelings too?..."I hate everyone" and "I want them to share the same fate." Since pretty much everything that happens in the four games is a reference to prime, this scene is probably too...
I think I am the only one who understands Rosa more than Maria...sure she did hateful things, but anybody should think what Rosa went through by almost all of the family members and what made her act like that towards Maria. She was devoid of love by everyone so in my part it's very normal to act and love Maria in her own twisted way. Because maybe she doesn't know to love someone.
That's why I feel so bad for Rosa and Maria (more for Maria for... obvious reasons). Rosa suffered the same stuff she's making Maria go through by all of her family members, and despite the fact that she loves Maria, she is inevitably repeating the cycle of abuse with her and making her suffer. No wonder Maria had such violent fantasies in this same episode. It's all a cycle of endless tragedy and misery. I'm not excusing Rosa; she's still a pretty awful mother, but the way she so realistically portrays abusive parents is incredible. I feel so bad for Maria, she's just a child and she did nothing wrong. :(
Her mother was very angry about letting her own daughter go out without her permission. Maria was telling Beatrice to kill her own mother that the bad witch possessed her. She will accepted to teach her how use her own magic.
What do you expect to be the change? Siesta 556 is in charge of defence, could've come in handy during Episode 3 and 8 but anything else? I don't know. Her vessel "dies" in this chapter and therefore she too. What would it change? No idea.
We'll see the Shoujo City 3D teachers: The teacher of Shoujo City highschool was very mean to others. Teachers had raged because students misbehaved, but.... The teachers were so mad, and they don`t care because their
They should have called this the soul sucking chapter. How could anyone who knows Maria's story possibly hate her character?
Why the hell didn't social services call the freaking police? I just. ..don't get it. Poor sweetheart.

5 years late, but when I first saw her, I never really hated her .>.

The Ushiromiya family needs psychiatrists more than Nanjo.
Meera Malhotra i agree

In the anime, she was kicked out by Rosa
This could have been fixed if Rosa hired a babysitter or something
That was never an option for Rosa. The one thing she fears more than anything else is being exposed as a failure. Rosa is screaming at her, but not at Maria
Of course ^ ^
Irresponsible mother.
Camilla Pierre agreed
xelebri i have a question what if siesta 556 was still alive

why was blood their no one got hurt 35:49
Because for Maria her bunny-friends are just as alive as Sakutaro. That's why she perceives it that way.
Best mom ever!!!
