- Hello everyone this was quite the doozy since the first try on this challenge ended up with unsable recordings so rather then give up, it's full steam ahead for a 2nd attempt so here we go with the legendary apocalypse game of the year edition making all enemies legendary! (excluding turrets and named NPC'S)

What I wasn't expecting was to find out he had died through the comments. I mean, I remember the problems with alcohol, and him saying he would look into it to course correct, but jesus christ.
RIP Mitten, 90% of the challenge runners of nowadays owe their success to you. Godspeed and when you read this from wherever you ended up, know you paved the way for a lot of good people and won't be forgotten. And if Grandma Sparkles is there, do what you do best.

The increased chance of legendary enemies is part of why I like FO4's very hard/survival mode, I just wish survival mode didn't have the stupid save restrictions and no fast travel as part of the survival mode thing, so I either mod them out or settle for very hard difficulty which still has a lot of extra legendary enemies
i wish it was like new vegas in survival mode it had the perfect balance and also punished you for being reckless yet rewarded you for knowing the game mechanics!
It is great to see you enjoying yourself with this challenge! I haven't done this challenge myself but I have seen a few RUclipsrs do it and one of my friend did it recently and as far as I have seen/been told it is a very fun challenge. I think I might give this a try myself, even though I don't know much about FO4 mods.
Its really tough in the beginning but late game your just a blaze of glory
I like that you actually expalined what you do at most stages, since many videos I see on fallout 4 just rush through the challenge.
Important to keep you all clued in otherwise isn't as fun!

Always a pleasure seeing your videos Frame, had just finised watching you XCOM 2 challenge with one Ranger, loved every minute and served as inspiration for a playthough. Same can be said about this challenge. Your run here is phenomenal and hilarious, especially with the the Triggermen opening the door to only experience a cannonball flying towards their face! And the Railroad onslaught is always hilarious, gotta learn them their manners!
The Broadsider is one of my favorite weapons and yes, ABSOLUTELY FUN. I did a demolition/tank build with Nerd Rage a while back wearing Heavy Buttressed Raider Armor for the limbs and heavy combat armor, with the combat helmet. He was a force to be reckoned with on top of bloody mess. Got an explosive shotgun, assault rifle, 2 acrobat legs (No fall damage when both equipped) out of it. It was a good run. I sided with the Brotherhood and then betrayed them launched in artillery strike at their base. Fighting the Brotherhood is too much fun than it should be.
All in all this is a great run, gonna end up giving this another watch again later. Outstanding job Insane Frame! 😎👍☕

I absoluetly love the play style,love it way more than the other guys that just follow the main quests and couldnt be bothered for things like power armor and go for the same perks every time, this video is a masterpiece🙌🙌

Mr InsaneFrame, certain slow melee weapons are much quicker when used with power armour while in 3rd person. Also, guns without sights such as the broadsider and minigun can be easier to aim with as well

That is a really fun challenge, might want to do it myself too.
Maybe I'll even restrict myself to only using legendary items, non-static ones that is, so no going to cricket, and not Power Armor.
Or, only the flip-side, how about this challenge but without using Legendary Gear at all? Could be fun as well!
Originally did it with a sniper and no power armour it is possible and really fun as didn't take gun nut and combine 4 sniper into 1 it was awsome

Tip for when dealing with ghouls and most critters if you do more with all enemies legendary.
Go for the legs, if you cripple the legs they kinda just lay there and are free then
Yeah party why I got the broadsider the explosions are fantastic for crippling legs a hidden strength of explosives
Fun fact, the death claw is able to clip into the building 11:43
It nearly killed me in my survival playthrough. I was lucky to be standing by the staircase and was able to get out of its reach.
I never take Scrounger but quite often I'll find 4 fusion cores in an ammo box. It's always 4 and it's always only in the green army style ammo boxes. Always a nice bonus but I never use power armour and always play on Survival so the extra weight means I usually either stockpile them at a settlement or sell them to the nearest trader.
Without watching this video all the way through yet, I have also done an "all enemies are legendary" playthrough and I noticed one thing that made it too easy. When a legendary enemy mutates and returns to full health, it does not heal its limb damage. And because every single enemy drops a legendary effect piece of gear, I was able to get a kneecapper effect on a 10mm pistol relatively early and it made my playthrough trivial. Cripple everything and run away to take pot shots from distance. Now that is completely random and I lucked out hard, but that is the nature of this kind of run, I guess. I might try one again sometime and maybe not get so lucky.
Edit: Finished watching the video. Great run. Funny how one of his first legendaries he shows is a 10mm with bonus limb damage. Almost, but not quite, the Knee-capper I found. The biggest difference in his run to mine, is he didn't leave much to chance. He went straight for a non-legendary mini-gun and then the broadsider. I got that kneecapper pistol so early that I built my entire build around pistols. Using the rapid-fire mod on the Kneecapper to take out the legs then use any random legendary pistols I could find for damage. I did use Kellog's pistol for a bit.
Pretty much did the same tactics but used explosives since they hit the legs so hard and can even in some cases one shot enemies
I had flashbacks to getting smashed into the floor when i saw that legendary radstag 💀

Wouldnt for the Vault run section at the start, it would be better to save scum using MAX luck, in order to attempt to get more favorable items.
You could do but Its difficult to get the right items

Can you beat fallout 4 as Batman.
You have to plan/prep each fight out to absurd levels, using whatever tech or gadgets are needed in as creative ways as possible. No guns. Also anyone clearly insane your just not allowed to kill, flat out.

if they also drop legendary loot things could get quite silly...my very first playthrough I got an automatic pipe gun with exploding rounds out of a legendary radroach very early on...the individual bullets not very powerful, but a quick burst in the general direction and you will cripple limbs, even better for crowd control

I remember playing this game using a few mods and it was too easy so I played it on hard mode using only legendary weapons unless I have no weapons than I just use my hands

I have never really liked using Power Armor in Fallout 4 even with the Jet Pack , not sure why, even though i end up with a massive pile of Fusion Cores. But power armor looks bad ass in 4
Yeah getting fusion cores at the start is the hardest part but after while it just piles up
i use this along side a few other including a mod that puts borderlands guns into the game

I have some interesting suggestions for a future video. First, how about playing Fallout 4 with only a Prototype Gauss Rifle from Creation Club?
Second, playing said game as an NCR Ranger? There are mods available for this and I've done it by using the Anti-Materiel Rifle from Creation Club (also available on Nexusmods and Bethesda's mods) and a few other weapons (Nexusmods and Bethesda's mods).
Next, how about playing as Blade Runner? There's a mod for That Gun at the Mass Fusion Waste Disposal facility on the lower roof in the homage to the movie of a synth and a bounty hunter (gun is on his right side).
Finally, playing as any Star Wars character (Han Solo, Jedi Knight, Stormtrooper, and maybe even Darth Vader) . All are possible with mods available at the aforementioned mod sites.

Dude this a fantastic suggestion will do all of them I did play as the lone survivor with ranger armour and a revolver from nuka world but that sounds amazing!

My favorite comment is when you refer to Kellogg as Kellogg Cornflakes. That one never gets old.
In fact, I have one more suggestion: how about a build where you're only allowed to wear the Destroyer's body armor pieces. There are only five pieces, with the right arm being the only one piece that doesn't exist. I think it'd be fun. Weapons are whatever you choose for the character because who am I to put restrictions on that, am I right? I'd say, for shits and giggles, use a board from a super mutant, but you really have to look for one.

I got a video suggestion, you should try playing Skyrkm only using Thunderchild Shouts, they got some interesting shouts a n d ones that combo.

FYI, you can't get crippled in power armor, so Adamantium Skeleton was a waste.

@@InsaneFrame whenever I get a legendary it’s 90% of the time a raider leg with some crap effect like poisoner or rooted
so true the amount of reflect damage or do this thing that will never is like ridiculous but funnily stat gains pieces are really useful!
This is actually just how I play Fallout 4. Very Hard, All Legendary, to balance out my other mods and actually justify settlement defenses.
Settlements are so good in all legendary playthroughs since the turrets are a huge help!
@@InsaneFrameHell yes. Especially if you actually go Minutemen, the artillery can end up saving your hind end at times. Though I also run a Ghoul Horde mod, which probably biases me a bit to it, XD.

Out of curiosity, Did you choose not to take the Fat Man and Mini Nuke from the Robotics disposal grounds because it's a challenge run, or did you just forget it?
So didn't take it since the ammo is rare and the weight of it is quite substantial so other then its value it's not really worth it

have you tried beating fnv as a marked man? im pretty sure you can make the courier red & ghoul themed with perks
