  • Why Does God Will That We Suffer Disabilities? - Peter Kreeft, Ph.D.
Peter Kreeft, Ph.D., Professor of philosophy at Boston College and King's College.
In order to answer this question, we need to define "disability." its relation to "dignity," to "suffering," to "the will of God," and to the end and purpose of human life on earth. A philosopher will try to give clear and common sensical Christian answers to these questions so that a "big picture" emerges that is radically different than that of our secular society on every one of these issues.

Sea urchins are animals, and we don't call them "blind". 🤷
Also, why didn't Enoch and Elijah need this "anaesthesia" that death supposedly is? Or do they not need this "open heart surgery" like everyone else?

This should be edited to remove the reference to Jean Vanier.

@@publius1252 , unfair. "Cancellation" always means the radical Left mobbing someone, at least figuratively, because of some non - Woke expression of sentiment about something, usually trivial.
      Vanier was a sexual abuser.

God doesn't will anything....He allows it ......He wants us to follow the Devine Will....but out of love for us gave us free will ....because by definition love has to be freely given

Ayn Rand said, “God chooses not to reveal himself”. That notwithstanding, there are countless religious crackpots that will be glad to tell you exactly who god is and what he wants.

Ayn Rand was willfully ignorant of the fact that God has revealed Himself in Jesus Christ.

He already has. As one of us. In the person of Jesus Christ. People around the world at every minute of every day of every week of every month of every year celebrate His life. Ayn Rand? Rotting in a box in a New York cemetery, forgotten by most. Who cares?
