I agree with you regarding the "Location." After all, what is ideal, say a remote place vs an urban one, is very subjective and likely to vary depending upon the purpose of the booking.
Do you mean overall rating average and separate criterion shall hit 4.9? I am struggling to follow Airbnb since June - had a break previously and now back on London market with a new listing. Thanks for your input. Good luck to everyone 🍀 Airbnb explanation is so vague “ At least five reviews from guests Excellent reviews and ratings above 4.9 stars on average High marks from guest reviews for check-in, cleanliness, accuracy, Host communication, location and value Superb record of reliability, with Host cancellations and quality-related customer service issues of 1% on average”
But why is it so important to have it? We got it very fast but does it have any impact on our sales? I don't know. I was expecting to hear what this badge really do but there's no info about it in this video...
Into year 3. Year one was better than year 2 and I attribute that to the local mill only had a short shutdown compared to year one. Year 3 we are way up in bookings already. Will break the 100 night mark this year, but our rates have stayed the same. Carry costs have gone up a bit, but my profit margin remains strong
I came back to host on airbnb after a 2 year break. I had imagined things would be fine because when i stopped, i had 4.9* and superhost. But to my surprise, all metrics are abysmal for me. My views are nearly 0, when compared to "other similar listings" they're 1 to 200, sometimes 1 to 1000. I can't even find access to support.
When you take a break, you need to Snooze your listing, not just block your calendar. If you don't snooze it... you sink to the bottom of search rankings.
Yes - guest favorite is showing on my listing. I am also a Super Host for 7 consecutive quarters!
Congrats!

That is very true!
It's showing up on mine. Highest rated Airbnb in Indiana, averaging 500+ wishlist additions every month.
Excellent!

Just checked and this is showing up on both our listings.
If I mark a property as favorite to narrow my searches for later on, does this count or add up as Guest Favorite ?

Great that your profit margin still remains strong!
Yes it’s showing on our listing!

@@AirbnbUncovered Oh wow, thanks a lot for your insight! Im surprised thought that happens. When i went on a break, i think I had de-listed them all.
Guest favorite!!
I have it on one listing, but not on the other.
Keep at it Nancy! You'll get it on the other soon.
